💜 SOCCER REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 💜⚽️

The wait is over! 🙌 We’re proud to announce that registration for the 7th Edition of the Kicking Out Transphobia Soccer Tournament in is officially OPEN! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Last year, our community came together and showed what happens when we turn solidarity into action. 💜 Together, we raised $4,461 to support Philadelphia’s trans community through organizations including @pprainbowroom, Ark of Safety, and @rhdmorrishome.

And our impact continues to grow — since our last tournament we’ve now donated more than $7,000 to organizations supporting trans and gender-nonconforming communities in the United States 🌈

Now, it’s time to come together once again!

Come play, connect, celebrate, and stand together with our trans and gender-nonconforming community. Because soccer is for everyone. ⚽️

Whether you’re coming with your team or looking to join the fun, there’s a place for you on the field!

Our second captain to be spolighted for Captains Appreciation Month is Luke Morin (@luke_morin7)! Luke is the captain of Touching Grass United in our Thu Coed D3 (Bundy) league! He has been a committed member of our and the @ftsc_dc soccer community, volunteering his time to help run events and organize FTSC leagues. Check out what his co-captain had to say about him in his nomination:

I am so fortunate to be co-captains with Luke! He brings a competitive spirit, a great attitude, and an unmatched commitment to making sure the team has fun both on and off the field. He is a born leader and always keeps the energy up. I’m thankful to have known him since middle school and that I get to watch him continue to grow as a leader and score goals. Touching Grass United loves having Luke as a captain!

🎉🌈 **One year and a whole lot of fabulous!** 🌈🎉

A year ago, #OnlyFriends was just a cute little idea with barely 10 people. Now? We’re fielding **two teams** for tournaments and potentially future District Soccer seasons—because one team simply couldn’t contain all this talent, teamwork, and sparkle. 💅⚽

And can we talk about the **new kits**? They made their debut last night, and baby… we came to play *and* serve looks. We look good, we feel good, and we’re only getting started.

Keep your eyes peeled for #OnlyFriends coming to a city near you 😘

So much love to this incredible crew of guys. Thank you for the laughs, the hustle, the camaraderie, and for making this team exactly what it is: fun, fierce, welcoming, and unforgettable.

**Cheers to year one—and to many more goals, games, and gay greatness ahead!** 🥂🏳️‍🌈

The fall season is less than a week away! Don't worry though, many of the Sobs were keeping busy this past season playing in the summer of freedom!
