Nature has its way of being artful. Visiting the Conservatory of Flowers, I am able to see nature’s art form through the many plants and blossoms.

Comment “LENS” and I’ll send you the best price I’ve been able to find online. A year of photos with one of my most-used lenses. If you've been wanting to get one ☝️ now may be your best chance!

The Fujinon XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II has become my go-to all-around travel lens. Wide enough for landscapes, architecture, and environmental shots, but with enough reach for portraits, details, and the inevitable moments when I don’t have time to switch lenses.

I’ve taken it through cities, mountains, road trips, and portrait shoots, and that 16-55mm range covers most of what I actually want to photograph while traveling.

I’ve said this many times before, if I could only bring one lens in my Fujifilm kit, this would be it.

I spent a morning in SF’s Chinatown. It amazes me how it gets quite crowded in the early mornings here. People are going out and about or running errands. The morning sunlight is especially perfect as well.

Little throwback to Taiwan (part.1)

📍阿里山, 臺灣
📷 Fujifilm XM5

It’s already been more than a year since I left for Taiwan to study. Time flies… I’ve missed it a lot since coming home, so I’ll be sharing some of the pics I took while I was there. Taiwan feels like a second home to me now, and it’s one of my favorite places in the world. Hope you’ll enjoy this little throwback series!

It was my first time visiting Alishan, and this place was so magical!! We had the greatest weather and the fog made it even more memorable :)

I love the idea of being a tourist in my own city, and lately, that’s what I have been doing. It gives me a reason to go out and take my camera with me.

From exploring touristy spots like Chinatown to going to my first Giants game, I am able to capture a bit of each memory. Even going to the small local eateries were nice to photograph.

The good thing about exploring the city is that I always end up finding new things I never would have known or seen, like the ARM Cuauhtémoc ship.

Comment “Sigma” and I’ll send you a link to the best price I’ve been able to find online. Not sponsored, I bought this lens with my own money :)

One year with the Sigma 17–40mm f/1.8 Art on my Fujifilm X-T5, and there’s a lot to appreciate about this lens.

The image quality is superb, and the build feels solid and well made. However, the biggest draw for me is having f/1.8 available throughout the zoom range.

So what’s trade-off? It isn’t a tiny setup, and sometimes I’d appreciate more reach.

A year later, I’m still happy to have it on my X-T5.
