“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I; send me!”- Isaiah 6:8. This verse is used pretty often in the law enforcement and military community. It exudes bravery, selflessness and a willingness to put oneself into dangerous situations for the greater good, overcoming evil in God’s name. I think about this verse often, and personally, I place further meaning to these words. I frequently ask God to “send me”. Send me into dangerous situations that I am prepared to face, so others who are less prepared don’t have to, sure, but also send me to have the conversation about the Glory of his kingdom to a group of handlers during a training event. Send me to be there for a friend who is going through hard times, to remind him that through God all things are possible. Send me to provide good, timely fatherly advice to my children. Send me to be a Godly partner to my wife. I ask God to send me on whatever task he can use me for, big or small, to glorify his name. #jesus #faith #dogsofinstagram

☀️ Today was the best training day! It was our first time tracking on sand, and then a quick cool off in Lake Michigan afterward. Couldn’t ask for a better tracking day! 🌊
