One week ago today,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I went to Rootsyardd at the Trinidad Theatre Workshop with a plan to have a gorgeous outdoor book launch where guests could sit, listen to the scheduled conversation, buy something to eat/drink and if they feel so inclined, support a newly published author by purchasing a copy of his book.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead of an open outdoor event, the rain relocated us indoors for a more intimate environment. That was not what I had in mind, but it’s exactly what was necessary. My book launch went splendidly! 🥰
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Everyone was engaged in the conversation with the author, myself, led by my brother Lou Lyons of @fulldisclosure_radio, Jace-Michael Joseph’s (@izeahartist) brilliant artwork was on full display and there was a general sense of love, appreciation, support and gratitude that filled the room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that came out to my book launch again! You all were beautiful guests and I’m already loving the feedback on the event and the contents of my debut publishing. I am eternally grateful 🙏🏾🥹
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To those who didn’t make it, doh beat up yuhself nah 😂 so it does go sometimes 😅 look out for more information on how you can get yourself a copy of “57 Days of Emotions” this coming weekend! 🙌🏾

The stars align in ways that we cannot even see coming but we have to trust, love and support each other.

The Caribbean was represented well last night in SXSW.

Big up all the artists, the musicians, the supporters, the tech teams.

Good energy cannot be defeated.
