Busy does not equal effectiveness. 👏 Read that again.

Repost if this is the reminder you needed. 🔁

The thing about work is that it will always have more for you to do. Literally always. So if you’re waiting for a good stopping point, it’s not coming. You have to create it.

That’s what the Daily Big 3 is for. Three priorities, chosen on purpose. When they’re done, you’re done.

Log off. Go be present with the people you love. Your inbox will survive without you.

Can I tell you something I’ve been learning lately?

Just because I CAN do something doesn’t mean I HAVE to do it.

For years, I’ve been the mom who tries to get everything done. The house, the kids, the business, the laundry, the meals, and whatever else gets thrown my way.

And somewhere in all of that, I forget to leave a little room for myself.

I’ve been trying to get better about choosing three things each day that really need my attention.

Not twenty. Just three.

Some days I get all three done. Other days, life happens, and I have to try again tomorrow.

And that’s okay.

I’m learning that a peaceful home doesn’t mean everything is finished. Sometimes it just means knowing when to stop.

Anyone else have a hard time calling it a day when there’s still something on your to-do list?

Hello! Since there are so many new faces around here (more than 10K since May! 🥲), I thought I would take a quick moment to re-introduce myself. Swipe through to learn a little bit more about me, the places I’ve lived, the work I do, what I believe, and what I’m all about here on social media and offline in the real world. However the algorithm brought you here, welcome. And yes. This is Timothy Schraeder Rodriguez.

I knew this week was going to be a lot, so I started taking things off my plate before I was already losing it 😂

My MIL cleaned the house for us.
School lunches were handled at school.
I ordered dinner for two nights.
And she helped me with laundry too.

That’s it. Nothing fancy lol. It definitely wasn’t the cheapest week 😂 but sometimes I’d rather spend a little more and keep my sanity than save the money and lose my mind trying to do it all.

Busy moms, what’s one thing you outsource or ask for help with when you know a crazy week is coming? I’m taking notes 😂

As a content creator, ALL of my work is online. But the distractions are never ending and I was in an endless loop of not being able to focus on my priorities. I started using the @fullfocusco planner and the DAILY BIG 3 has transformed my day. By focusing on my 3️⃣ most important tasks I have gotten rid of the overwhelm and *finally* achieved goals I have wanted to achieve since Ramadan! Some of those daily goals will soon be moved to “daily rituals”…but I’m pacing myself 😂

Getting back to something that I KNOW works for me… my planner!

I’ve always loved my Full Focus Planner because it helps me take all those things swirling around in my head and actually decide what matters most.

One of my favorite parts is choosing my 3 BIG goals for the day. Not 15 things. Not trying to conquer the entire world before dinner. Just three things that move me a little closer to the bigger goals I’ve set for the month and the year.

I’ve gotten away from consistently doing this lately, and I can tell! When I don’t have a plan, it’s way too easy for me to stay busy all day but wonder at the end of it what I actually accomplished.

So… back to the planner I go. Back to being intentional with my time. And hopefully, back to a little more FOCUS!

Now I’m curious… do you plan out your days to help you reach your goals, or are you more of a “fly by the seat of your pants” kind of person?

No judgment either way! We all work differently, and that’s perfectly okay. I just know this girl needs a PLAN!

I threw away my entire planner collection while decluttering and immediately regretted it.

So here are the two I’d actually re-buy — one for when I want to get laser-focused on just this week, and one for when I want to see the whole year and time-block my whole life (6am to 10pm, home stuff included).

Also: I don’t like starting a planner in January. August/September, back-to-school energy, that’s my new year.

I don’t make the rules. (I do, actually. It’s my planner.)

Both linked below if you want to look. And tell me — are you a “just this week” planner or a “show me the whole year” planner? 👇

Because a planner is really just another journal, right?

Started the morning with a run, got my protein in, felt very responsible… and then work said, “Cute.” 😂

But honestly, doing one thing for yourself before the day starts pulling at you really does help. The fires may still come, but at least you didn’t abandon yourself first.

Corporate girlies, you get it. ✨

Somewhere between the calendar full of meetings and the endless to-do list running in your mind, most high achievers lose the thread of what they’re actually here to do today.

The Daily Big 3 is the simplest thing we teach inside the Full Focus Planner, and it may be the most powerful. Before the day starts, choose three things—not ten or twelve, just three—that if finished would make the day feel like a real win. Then, don’t give your attention to anything else until those are checked off. (Just tell the rest of your list to wait its turn!)

One of our clients, Corinne, started doing this and reclaimed one to two hours every single day, not by working faster, but by finally knowing exactly what should get her attention and what shouldn’t.

This works at the weekly level too. Before the week wraps up, ask: if you could only finish three things before Friday, what would they be? Write them down, protect them, and tell everything else to get behind them in line.

Most people end the week wondering where the days went. Instead, start Monday knowing exactly what has to happen to make the week a success.

If you use the Full Focus Planner, we'd love to hear how the Daily Big 3 has changed your work week. Drop a comment below and share a win you've seen since you started using it. 👇
