Nobody is ready for cheer

Not the cost
Not the emotions
Not the competitions
Not the friendships
Not the tears
Not the pride

and somehow... we all end up falling in love with it anyway

Joe said it best

"You don't know until you know"

That line hit all of us

Huge thank you to Joe Rodgers for hanging with us and sharing his story, his journey as a cheer dad and what he's building with @fullout.energy

Unpopular opinion? 👀

Every cheer parent should get a scoring orientation at the start of the season

Different levels
Different rubrics
Different expectations

So why are so many parents left trying to figure it out on their own?

Our homie Joe Rodgers thinks gyms should teach scoring from day one and honestly we think it's an interesting conversation

What do YOU think?

Should gyms explain scoring to parents? 👇

🎙️ Full Episode 26 with Joe Rodgers is LIVE

Joe is also building something awesome with FullOut Energy to help athletes, parents, coaches and gyms better understand the sport we all love

Forget trophies for a second

This might be the biggest win in cheer

Watching your kids develop work ethic
Watching them fight through adversity
Watching them become tougher, more disciplined, and more determined than you ever were at their age

That was Joe Rodgers answer when we asked

"What are you most proud of as a cheer dad?"

and.. that's a pretty incredible answer

🎙️ Episode 26 of Cheer Dads Unfiltered is LIVE

We talk cheer scoring, athlete development, parenting and why Joe built @fullout.energy to help families better understand the sport we all love

I thought cheer competitions were in a school gym...

Then I walked into my first event 🤯

The lights
The production
The arena
The athletes

and suddenly I realized this sport was a whole lot bigger than I ever imagined

Joe Rodgers shares the moment he went from curious dad to fully invested cheer parent in Episode 26 of Cheer Dads Unfiltered

Every cheer parent has been there...

Your team hits
The crowd erupts
You think they crushed it

Then scores come out and you're left wondering

"Wait... what happened?"

That's exactly the rabbit hole that led Joe Rodgers to build @fullout.energy

In Episode 26 of Cheer Dads Unfiltered, we sit down with Joe to talk scoring, data, athlete development and why understanding cheer doesn't have to feel impossible
