I can’t believe it’s TEN YEARS already!!
A decade ago I started working at this incredible facility known as the Porsche Experience Center LA (PECLA) as a Porsche Driving Coach, not knowing it would turn into one of the most rewarding chapters of my life.
Sunrise sessions on the circuit, low friction circle, acceleration straightaway or the ice hill!!
White-knuckle laps with first-timers who left as grinning converts, and the quiet pride of watching someone nail a perfect line through every corner for the very first time!
None of it would have meant ANYTHING without the TEAM.
That incredible team of instructors led by the best chief instructor any of us@ could ever ask for, the insanely talented Johnny Kanavas. And I have to say, that team I was fortunate to share that track with weren’t just colleagues, they’re some of the most genuine, talented, passionate people I know. Right from the start (before the venue even opened). We pushed each other, shared skills, laughed more than I can possibly count, and built something that felt less like a ‘workplace’ and more like a family (my Porsche Family!).
Here’s to the ten years that incredible world class facility has been open, the friendships that have endured, and whatever’s next!!
HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY PECLA!!

Absolutely loved supporting @sandiegoautomuseum and the Ignite Academy for their Annual CRUIS’N FORE DRIVERS Golf Tournament!! My first time playing @coronado_golf_course, it was such a beautiful golf course. Not quite sure how I managed to win the longest drive for the ladies, but I’ll take it!! Thank you @fullschpeedauto for the opportunity to play!

Grateful to FOX5 San Diego for telling our story and highlighting what Gillie’s Auto Lounge is all about. Seeing the vision put into words and shared with the community would mean a lot to my dad — Gillie and it’s a reminder of why we created this in the first place. We’re excited to keep building, growing, and becoming a part of the San Diego car community.
