The Coupe & Flute is located in Seattle, WA. This is such a cute spot for brunch or dinner! We came for brunch and everything was delicious! The tempura battered cream puffs were so good especially with the berry compote. It was also my first time having a BLT with focaccia and I definitely would order that again. They have an Asian fusion as well as American brunch on the weekends, chef specials on the chalk board, and happy hour Tuesday-Saturday from 4 PM-6 PM. There were so many flavor combos I haven’t seen before, you’ll definitely be experiencing something new here! Come check them out! ⁣

it’s such a good time to be somewhere like this. the whole area is alive in summer, from the big parks to the little local spots you’d never find unless you were looking for them. and it’s cooler here right now than almost anywhere else in the country, which honestly feels illegal to admit.
 and yes, some of these are Edmonds, Redmond, etc. greater Seattle, we’re counting it, don’t come for me! 🤍

2 years in marriage, a decade in love

(fun fact: we had a second wedding earlier this year with our family in the Philippines! 🇵🇭)

as someone who is innately an introvert and loves her quiet solitude, I never would’ve thought I’d love someone with so much energy and spontaneity in life. but I couldn’t ask for a better partner that makes life *so fun* and carries us at parties when I’m checked out LOL. ✨

nothing dramatic happened. no big pivot, no quitting anything, no “I woke up at 5am for 30 days” era. I just started paying attention to what was quietly draining me... and then stopped pretending it wasn’t. the shift is hard to explain because it doesn’t photograph well. but it’s real. and if you’re in the messy middle of something similar - hi! you’re not behind.

All I wanted to do for my birthday was to bird-up with beaks, take early bird gets the worm shots, and play games. Little did I know David was planning to fly the entire party to the rain forest. He surprised me with a performance from The Flight Club Foundation 😭😩❤️‍🔥

Debbie, the founder and literal mother of birds, gave us an unforgettable performance with her flock of SIX. We laughed, we cried (tears of joy, mainly from me), and were left inspired by her advocacy for wildlife.

Can not believe I was a human perch for parrots??? I also can’t believe my feeble forearms didn’t cave holding up two macaws (they almost did!)

I think I can safely say everyone’s inner child (including my friend’s actual children) were in awe. Shout out to David for the best day ❤️ getting older is fun!

got invited to a sneak peek of the new Concourse C expansion at @flysea and ate my way through it for research purposes. ✈️

this whole section is getting a major glow-up this summer – more local spots, fresh food options, and always variety beyond the usual airport fare. the BBQ sliders alone were worth showing up early for a flight!

if you fly out of Seattle even occasionally, save this one. your future self stuck at the gate with 45 minutes to kill will thank you. ✧

Waking up to the sound of waves and floor-to-ceiling ocean views… not a bad way to spend a few days. 🌊

Our stay at Our Plaace felt like hitting pause on real life for a bit. Slow mornings, beach walks, sunsets from the deck, and cozy nights listening to the ocean.

Some places just have that magic. This was one of them. Saving this spot for the next time we need a reset.
