Greetings from WIP Labs and OddBird Foundation! This March, from 28th to 31st, we pulled off something truly special at the Dhan Mill in Chattarpur. The second edition of Little Stint featured performances and film screenings on and around the idea of ‘belonging’. Through myriad forms and mediums, the artists shared their works on belonging that initiated new conversations in the space. This wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful team and the volunteers who stepped in. And perhaps the most crucial part of it all, you, the audience. We’re truly grateful for your continuous support in this space we’re trying to build. Here’s to many more editions of Little Stint, and to exploring even more ideas and forms.

Raisina Dialogue, an international conference hosted by the Observer Research Foundation @orf_events and Ministry of External Affairs @meaindia , unveils its 2024 brand identity, designed by Amartya Chakraborty, a third-year communication design student at the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). Amartya's creation embodies the spirit of the conference theme, "Chaturanga: Conquest, Conflict, Contest, Cooperate, and Create," reflecting the multifaceted nature of global discourse. Amartya's @fumetsuart design masterfully blends diplomacy and proactiveness. The captivating visuals are nestled within a welcoming mandala, serving a threefold purpose: extending an invitation to participate, conveying a message of unity, and paying homage to Chanakya's principles regarding the significance of mandalas in human life. This thoughtful combination not only captures the essence of the conference but also highlights the inherent power of diverse perspectives in tackling complex global issues. Beyond the inviting aesthetic, the design subtly emphasises the strength found in diverse viewpoints and the potential for collaboration. The "Chaturanga'' theme, with its exploration of conquest, conflict, contest, cooperation, and creation, reflects the multifaceted nature of international relations. Amartya's brand identity reflects this complexity, fostering a sense of hope and optimism for collaborative solutions amidst today's ever-evolving global landscape. This creation serves as a testament to the exceptional talent nurtured within the walls of IIAD and the potential young minds hold for shaping the world stage. This amazing project was closely mentored by Shaaz Ahmed @707shazz (Associate Professor- Communication Design, IIAD) and Devan Das (Assistant Professor- Communication Design) Branding, brand identity, design, design students #communicationdesigner #communicationdesign #designprocess #designprocess #designeducation #branding #brandstudy #brandingvisuals #visualdesigner #designinspo #designjourney #designelements #designcollege

~Rumiyana - A Journey Within~ Inspired by the tales from the Masnavi by Rumi, a labour of love, brought to you by The Ishara Puppet Theatre Trust. The performance is a collection of poems and stories from the Masnavi interwoven to tell a singular narrative of a journey in search of the self, in a quintessential Rumi style of ‘a story within a story within a story. Rumi consciously made himself and his poetry a bridge between cultures and between religions. There is nothing exclusivist about him. He includes everyone in his embrace. He was, and is, a healer of whatever might separate us. At 7:30 PM On 4th December 2022 India Habitat Centre, New Delhi For tickets: @bookmyshowin . . .
