The Fund seeks to foster local Flow Arts communities and cultivate the development of a global community of Flow Arts practitioners.

$They say it takes a village to raise a child, and apparently, it also takes a village, a grant, some props, an amazing park team, a brilliant crew, and a whole lot of faith to bring an event to life, just like the one, Flow Day that we hosted last week! A heartfelt thank-you to @fundtheflowarts for the generous funding, @dubejuggling for sponsoring the props, and the @brooklynbridgepark team for collaborating with us. @loren_loops, thank you for telling me about the grant, helping write the proposal, and working towards it despite being unwell and dealing with a foot fracture. @brooklyn_proper, thank you for helping turn this vision into reality. Your ability to see possibilities and bring people together is special. You show up for the community without needing applause, credit, or social media clout. No performance, just genuine heart, and that is rare! To our incredible volunteers, you worked so hard that I had to remind you that breaks are legal! Thank you for bringing so much energy and heart: @freakflowarts; @antmanmax; @sulesokoni ; Angeline; and @lazerbeamdream . Thank you to our teachers for patiently introducing beginners to the flow props: @bklyncelia; @pippinperformanceart; @locococotheclown; @dancinggginthedirt; and @jennyypooo Thank you to our DJ @sasflows and musician @marco_h._rodriguez and @mattkingsound for keeping the rhythm, energy, and good vibes flowing. Many hands, generous hearts, a few weather-related stressful days, and definitely happy tears later, we made it happen! Some shots by @ticovruum$
