I truly believe @ramirez_jose11 watched the 10u Diamond Kings play ball this past summer! I'm not saying he's stealing our style of play ...butttt.... lol. In all seriousness, we are teaching our boys to play the game at an even higher level than they may even understand right now. As a coach, I'm trying to teach our boys how to create holes on the field for teammates and take advantage of defensive misalignment. This style of play is not only fun but it puts a ton of pressure on the opposing team. We want our boys to have fun playing this great game and all of our players to have an amazing baseball I.Q. Keep watching the Diamond Kings @ramirez_jose11 and go @cleguardians!

🏆🔥 MVP WEEKEND FOR DJ BIRD! 🐦🏀

What a weekend! @djbird_youngelite took home MVP honors at the inaugural @runtheshow.us Youth “SHOW U” Showcase Event, putting on an incredible all-around performance against some of the best young talent in the area. 🔥🏆🏀

DJ was knocking down threes, attacking the basket, creating for teammates, getting steals, and locking up on defense—showing the complete game of a true floor general. His basketball IQ, confidence, court vision, and ability to impact the game in so many ways were on full display.

At just a 7th grader and Class of 2032 point guard, DJ earned the opportunity to compete alongside and against some of the area's best young talent while being evaluated in front of coaches, trainers, and basketball professionals who work with athletes at the high school, college and NBA levels. This was exactly the type of environment where a young player can step on the floor, compete, and let his game speak for itself.

And DJ did exactly that. 💯

Now, it's time for the next chapter at Gilmour Academy, @galancerboysbasketball . The work continues, and the upcoming season is going to be exciting to watch!

MVP. FLOOR GENERAL. CLASS OF 2032.
DJ BIRD IS JUST GETTING STARTED. 🐦🏆🔥

The Saturns move to 3-0! Dash had another solid game and his team got the dub! This kid is really hard to bring down when he runs the ball. He had a ton of Y.A.C yards and a couple of big sacks! Make sure you hold on to that $%$@% ball young man! Lol....Go Saturns!

Dash has been putting on a show the last two football season. In honor of Dash turning (10) double digits, here are some of his highlights from the past two season. Yes, I said some. This dude has a ton of highlights but.. I thought these were the best of the best. The others just didn't make cut this time. I guess that's a good problem to have! Love ya son and BEAT AURORA! #bdayweekend #youthsports #youthfootball🏈

ANGLES Matter! As a right handed person just imagine yourself bowling and trying to pick up a spare with only the 10 pin standing which is located on the far right.. thats essentially what a kicker is doing when he kicks from the left hash. Also after speaking to Texas kicker, he reiterated that on the field the wind Swirls in that stadium. Just another added factor. Again, you are there to do a job regardless, but if im a coach and if the difference between winning or losing a game lies with the guy that just kicks the ball, im going to make sure I give him the best opportunity to succeed. Unfortunately I was in the building for both the Georgia loss AND the Texas loss and I didn't feel good about either before the kicks
