Disappointing result as I usually have strong pace at Sandown, however struggled with kart 2 as it had no rear or brakes.

𝘏𝘌𝘈𝘛 1 ⟢ P2📉P4
Got overtaken instantly by P3 due to starting on the outside down the main straight. Continued to struggle with kart 2 having no rear grip but otherwise, a good finish for points.

𝘏𝘌𝘈𝘛 2 ⟢ P19📈P6 (P14 Post Penalties🥲)
A really good heat, had a different kart and was back at my usual pace. Managed to make up 13 positions, however another driver turned across me twice whilst i clearly had the inside line and also overtook me under yellows during the heat, but I was given the 5sec penalty and had no footage without a camera to prove otherwise. With the drop of places it lost almost all my points from the heat.

𝘍𝘐𝘕𝘈𝘓 ⟢ P8📈P3
Sadly had a P8 start due to my penalty in heat 2 however I knew my pace was strong so I was able to make up positions and benefited from battling ahead and finished P3

Overall really happy with this result as I was able to push through and get another podium however sad to miss out on a potential higher finish as i would’ve started P2 for the final without the penalty.

🚨 IT’S RACE WEEK 🚨

This week, HRJ TV follows Lead Ambassador, Amber Farrugia, as she takes to the stage at Tamworth for Round 6 of the @jamiechadwickseries. Amber comes off the back of a successful weekend performance from Jess Mcintosh, who was featured last time out, who managed to clinch a triple podium at Sandown Park.

@jamiechadwickseries ✧.* JCS SANDOWN PARK ROUND 5 28/06/26

✦ practice - P3
was a positive result as i had never raced on the alternate layout before and it was my second time at Sandown

✦ heat 1 - P12
had an unlucky starting place for the random heats being placed directly in the middle, taking away a front and back starting place advantage. A bad start in this heat from getting loaded meant after losing out, there was a big gap ahead which is difficult to make up in an 8min heat.

✦ heat 2 - P11
started from the middle once again, had a good start but due to a driver loading a train of karts into a corner, caused a domino effect and i got spun out. I made up some positions lost but the 8min heat also got called early due to a red flag.

Final- P12
sadly was given a kart lacking top speed in the final, meaning that i had to defend for majority of the race to keep whatever position i still had.

An annoying round overall as i had high hopes for a good finish after my P3 last time at Sandown and my good podium potential pace in practice. However all a learning curve, onto Tamworth! 🫶🏼
