Funny how time flies... @candiedavenport (When you're having fun!) #livelovelaugh 🤣 #funnyhowtimeflies ♥️ Table for 2! @funnybonevb 📌 She told me to sit on the inside, so i won't get up laughing thru the aisles like Def Comedy Jam. These are her words... 🤷🏽🤣

This is the first joke I ever wrote and ever performed live...my first name is "Jergen"...you'd go by "Cam" too lol:) the nickname "CoachCam" stuck. Sending a big salute 🫡 & shoutout to all Graduation show performers tonight of the @armedservicesartspartnership grad show in DC! Salute to all of you! Thank you @armedservicesartspartnership for all y'all do for us! We need these healthy outlets! Thank you to y'all and organizations like @missionbelonging @wedefyfoundation Thank you to @big44comedy who was my Comedy Instructor in late winter/early spring of 2017! I learned a ton from that man. I took the 6 week Comedy School with the @funnybonevb and I have been hooked to this medicine of comedy ever since! It's a high y'all! But it's a healthy high! If you're like me, that matters;) iykyk But real talk, it's a high you can't buy, smoke, inject, sip, or anything else... nah playa, you've got to go feel the burn in your belly, the stress, and go up to literally earn that high! AND IT IS SO WORTH IT! STILL! The nerves and the fear are sincerely part of the high and the genuine fun that I get from getting to do standup comedy. As @thebobbieoliver explains in her amazing book, "The Tao of Comedy: Embrace the Pause", those front end feelings of nervousness are all a part of the yin & yang of Standup Comedy and performative arts. You kinda can't get the high and the healthy fun without the nerves, the fear, and that "sweaty palm" type feeling. 🗣️That book from the legend, Bobbie Oliver still helps me! Thank you @thebobbieoliver for always being there for me and for so many! Look everyone, I'm still learning, still trying, and still loving my ultimate high: #standupcomedy So I am far from having it figured out... Don't read this post wrong! I am still doing what Bobbie wrote to me in the book she autographed for me..."Cam, enjoy the journey"! And I am STILL "Enjoying the Journey"! Look if you're afraid to try something...GOOD! That's gonna lead to a healthy high once you do that thing! Why not you? If not now, then when will you try that thing ? #ikigai #healthyoutlets #comedyismedicine Much love world! All the best, The Old rambling man

@funnybonevb & @draftcadevb | virginia beach, va name another place where you can get comedy, food, drinks, and arcade games all in one spot we headed to funny bone for a date night show with @tacarracomedy and she was hilarious! the new funny bone building is so nice, the food was amazing, and ordering is so easy since your server comes right to your seat! before or after the show, you can head right over to draftcade, which is connected to the comedy club, for even more food, drinks, and arcade games 👾🍻 definitely adding this to the date night / girls’ night out rotationnnn
