7,400 ft altitude gain
Our first Fourteener!
We were well prepared! But we grossly underestimated the time it would take, just how a hard it would be, and how much mental determination it would take! I also probably should have acclimated to the altitude for more than just a day coming from living at a 774 foot altitude. 🤷
Beautiful sunrise hike to get us started
Miles 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 we still had some energy!
Mile 6 we were waning.
Mile 7, 8, 9, 10, & 11 for documentation purposes only. We. Were. Spent.

I celebrated another year of life surrounded by so much love, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful birthday.

I’m truly blessed to be able to compete. This year has had so many things happen already. It wouldn’t be prep if the most extreme life situations didn’t occur. Life doesn’t stop because you’re on prep. You still have everything life throws at you on top of preparing your body to be in its best condition. It’s a beautiful journey and at the same time it flys by.
I’m very proud of the physique I brought as it was my favorite in terms of conditioning and mass and muscle maturity and density.
I placed 2nd which is what it is. We all compete to win and in a subjective sport you accept your placing. I need more conditioning in my hamstrings and glutes so that’s my focus moving forward. I’ll compete another time this year and there will be more details.
So many friends and family supported me through this prep. Shout out to all of you, so much love 🫶🏽 All of you have inspired me to be better! From being my videographer to my therapist to my waxer this process really takes a team and my team is the best!

Being bad on purpose ✨ when you’re leveling up- creating new habits, reaching for more, changing the environments you spend your time in- your body will literally CRAVE the old vibration because it’s familiar.

Intentionally giving yourself a little chaos can preempt you finding it unconsciously.

Eat that chocolate muffin
Play hooky for the day
Or catch a hilarious and sexy burlesque show
