World Finalists! Coming into Worlds with low expectations right after FRC Provincials, our run this year exceeded anything we could have imagined. In quals, after losing matches #70 and #88 with no awp and scoring a combined total of just nine points, we thought our season was over. However, we pushed through and came back to finish with a 9-3 record ranking 9th in our division. We were then miraculously picked by 3rd seed @9123c_jason to form the MOA alliance from the start of the year. We ultimately ended as div champs of the Innovate Division after a very tough finals 3 match against @9364e_ember and @team2011j making it to dome our first time ever. In dome, we won match after match to reach the world finals where we played against @exothermic_burnout10b and @1028a_washed, where we narrowly lost Finals 1 by just five points and then lost Finals 2 to finish as the World Finalists. This season was truly something that has changed our lives. From being known as the team who won Lobster Bowl as 6th alliance to becoming Mall of America Champions, pioneering the s bot, and now finishing as World Finalists, it’s crazy to see how far we’ve come. We know in our hearts we could not have achieved this without the incredible support of the community. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us along this journey. We are extremely grateful to be part of such an amazing community of people. We also want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to our sponsors: @whimsytech , @bmpmetals , and @roboticsisez. Thank you for believing and helping us throughout our journey! I hope everybody had an amazing season in pushback and see you in Override❤️

Last weekend, we participated in the VEX U world championship in St. Louis. In the Opportunity division, we were the only team to go 10-0 in qualification matches, and ended rank 5. Through the elimination rounds, we made it to division finals, but lost in a tough Bo3 third match. This is an amazing accomplishment to end the season, and we end our season with a 72W-4L record. We are excited to compete in next years game, Override! A huge thank you to our sponsors Polymaker, MEDAC, the Cal Poly Robotics Club, and the Computer Science dept. for helping us out throughout the season! It wouldn’t have been possible without you. #vexrobotics #calpoly #robotics #vexu

Even though our booth didn’t win the Pit Design Contest, our interactive Human Match Loader was a total hit! It kept our pit busy the whole time and gave visitors a fun, hands-on way to experience what our robots do! We were even featured in a @funrecf post, which made it extra exciting! Thanks to everyone who stopped by, tried it out, and hung out with PSU! #world #championship #blackpink #robotics #memories

Never gip Up #vexrobotics #academiastem #vexworlds #utcj

Worlds post Worlds post!!! These last 2 weeks have been fun and crazy in all the best ways. Huge thanks to @vexrobotics and @recfoundation for inviting me to emcee all 3 events; this has truly been the highlight of my VEX career for me. It was super exciting to meet all the teams, coaches, and volunteers at the event, and it was an honor to emcee with all of you! Thank you to my fellow emcees for supplying me with emergency throat relief, conspiring with me in my various pranks, and for being awesome people to hang out with. Thank you for everyone who stopped by to ask me for / compliment my trading cards, people loved those more than I ever could have imagined. For those who didn’t get the cards that they wanted, stay tuned… I might figure out something for future card distribution :) Thank you to all the teams I lifted merch off of. RIP the triball I brought, but it was a necessary loss for me to fit all of the swag I collected into my suitcase lol. Thank you to @explorestlouis and @americas.center for the awesome venue. I'm looking forward to coming back here next year! Thank you to all the head refs, scorekeepers, field resetters, division managers, production crew, etc. for always being around and keeping the show running so smoothly. Looking forward to seeing everyone again in Override!

WORLDS. Following a record-breaking season, 8501A flew halfway around the world to St. Louis, Missouri 🇺🇸 for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship. In our season-best effort, we blasted through qualifications, going 9-1-0, and earned one of the highest numbers of AWPs, ranking us an astounding 5th in the Innovate Division. After a hectic alliance selection, we teamed up with 1940B Axis to form the 4th-seed alliance, making it to the quarterfinals before narrowly losing to two incredible teams, the eventual division champions 🫡, 9568W & 2731M. Nevertheless, thanks to our stellar performance, our robot was also featured in a Robot Rundown on @funrecf, while our early-season robot was featured in the DOME. 🔥🔥🔥 Special thanks to 1940B (GOATs) for being an exceptional alliance partner, and to everyone else with whom we worked at Worlds! Not forgetting the teams back in Singapore 🇸🇬 whose unwavering support helped us get this far: @vex_vortex_alliance @nush.robo @peter3632a @81011x.super_bear @vexrobotics6546 @hci.sg_8076h Thank you to the school for allowing us to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime journey, and to our wonderful teachers (past and present), Ms Thong, Ms Tay, Mr Teo, and Mr Tay, for their unwavering support. Last but not least, thank you to our coach @thad.f1 for being the best coach we could have asked for 🥹. Your relentless effort and guidance have transformed us from complete beginners a mere 15 months ago to shining brightly on the world stage. None of this would have been possible without you, and we are forever grateful to you for nurturing us into better individuals, on and off the field. See you in OVERRIDE! 🔥 #vexworlds #vexrobotics #vex #v5rc #pushback

VEX Worlds gave us a perfect ending to this years 2025-2026 Push Back Season. It gave us the chance to distill all experiences throughout the year and show the whole VEX community of what we are capable of doing. 🦄💪 Spirit Division - Create Award 🏅 Spirit Division - Semifinalists 🎖 Us Punchers had our very first meeting in May 25th, participated in countless scrimmages and competitions with an official record of 44-5-0 before worlds. We had gone through 5 robot generations, from a foldable basket to now an S bot. We were glad that we had the opportunity to present our full journey to everyone at worlds, and hopefully we were able to inspire some people ✨️ Thanks to all the Taiwanese Teams that supported us throughout the whole trip, and Thanks to all our alliances and opponents as well as all teams in the spirit division. Thanks to all the teams that gave us stickerss, we got plenty on our robot 🙏🩷. Finally, thanks to everyone that came to our pit for stickers, cards, cookies, and participated in the t-shirt event 💕 We still got plenty of photos to post, stay tuned 🦄 #vexrobotics #pushback #66994b #unicornpuncher #vexworlds
