If a book of legends were to exist, Furcast would be the cover. They are, to this day, one of the only bands we like to consider truly ahead of their years a band that sounds like a full orchestra ready to roar.

We’d hate to be the person missing this performance. Their presence is nothing short of amazing. They aren’t your typical pop radio listen and we love them more for it. They don’t fit neatly into any one box and honestly that’s just jazz baby 🗡️

We’re ready for this bigger than life cinematic performance!

Peep the @billgazer visuals. We can’t wait for him to perform his magic yet again.

August 29th • Bamboo Club • 3522 E Anaheim St

If you know Fight Club, you're familiar with Project Mayhem: in death they have a name.
His name was Avaron Lee Sims II.
As a kid his family nicknamed him mookie, and that's how most people referred to him: Mook.
In music he went by a few monikers: DRTYWRTZ, Jason Mask, and Reaper Mook running the Reaper Mafia.
That all came easy to him, but he put in the work, he wasn't just talented, he put in the work.
All of his artwork was thought out, he was an artist with vision and he knew how to pursue it to fruition.
It took hard work to get where he got with music, but it came easy because he was already an artist.
Ten years ago when his rap game was fresh I asked him who did the merch and he laughed, I didn't know he did it and that's when he told me, "man I do..."
By that time he'd been rapping about a year, but I thought he'd been at it awhile.
Mook told me that night what he did, he studied the greats like an artist undertaking an aesthetic study.
That's why he wasn't some imitation, that period of study taught him techniques to develop his own skills, which he did in extraordinary fashion.
Man our guy was hip, Vinny said Mook chose all the samples, I even happened to catch him smiling on stage and this shit's been hard for him.
Fight Club put on a special night for Mook.
It was his birthday, his family was there, his son surfed the crowd, and his mom went up on stage.
The crowd size was typical but it wasn't a typical crowd because a lot of people there knew each other, people really showed up to pour one more clicquot out for our friend.
