🐾👻 Spooky dinner time for my girls! 👻 🐾

I was so excited for my @everydaywoof_ order to come in. I got a couple slow feeder bowls by @brewinaussie.co in Halloween themed colors. I couldn’t wait to use them for their meals 🫶🏻

What’s in the bowl?

For their base I use @mytuckersraw pork,bison and pumpkin recipe

Freeze dried lamb @primalpetfoods

Rabbit ears from @fureverfierce

Dehydrated cookies and chicken gizzards by me! 🫶🏻

Sardines, bone broth and blueberries 🫐

Some nights, I just sit back and wonder how I got so lucky with these two girls.

Tepper, my beautiful, dignified older sister, who somehow manages to maintain her composure while questioning every life decision that led to having Freya as her little shadow.

And then there’s Freya. 🌪️

25 pounds of personality in a rapidly growing Weimaraner body. The side-eye, the wrinkles, those ridiculous ears, and the ability to experience every possible emotion while eating a single rabbit ear.

One minute she’s a little lady. The next, she’s making faces that should probably come with a warning label.

Watching these two together has been one of my greatest joys. Tepper has her patience tested daily, and Freya seems absolutely convinced that everything Tepper does is worth investigating, interrupting, or participating in.

Two very different personalities. Two beautiful gray girls. And a bond that’s only just beginning.

I spend so much of my life working with dogs and caring for everyone else’s dogs. But sometimes, it’s these quiet evenings at home, watching my own girls just be themselves, that remind me why I fell in love with them in the first place.

I’m completely, unapologetically, ridiculously in love with these two. And I wouldn’t change a single thing.

Even if one of them apparently needs an entire theatrical production to eat a rabbit ear.

Who wants to play Duck, Duck Goose with us?
For the smaller dogs we have Chicken too.
Necks are a crunchy, single-ingredient natural chew with benefits your pup can really sink their teeth into:

🦷 Helps clean teeth — chewing and crunching can help scrape away plaque and tartar
💪 Naturally nutrient-rich — provides protein plus naturally occurring minerals
🦴 Supports joints — cartilage naturally contains glucosamine and chondroitin
🧠 Provides enrichment — chewing satisfies a natural instinct and helps keep dogs happily occupied
😋 BIG crunch, BIG flavor — perfect for dogs who love a satisfying natural chew.

✨Sunday Breakfast✨
@omaspride Woof Complete Beef 🥩
@simplefoodproject FZD Duck 🦆
@fureverfierce Rabbit Ear 🐰

Fun fact: it is a long standing myth that kibble cleans our pets teeth. Kibble is actually more often than not, carbohydrate & starch heavy which can cause more plaque and tartar build up.

Functional chews like rabbit ears, duck feet, bones, antlers etc. are great options to gently scrape our pets teeth.

Adding a daily dental supplement is a great option as well.

& Of course, brushing is the most effective way to keep our pets mouths healthy!

You can shop all dental needs at @thenaturaldog in store and online! https://shop.thenaturaldog.us

What is your pets dental routine?!
