World Mental Health Day! ❤️🧠 Mental health is an important part of our overall well-being, and it deserves just as much attention as our physical health. Let’s remember to take care of ourselves, give ourselves room to rest, and seek support when we need it. Let’s also be intentional about looking out for one another, listening without judgment, and creating an environment where we can all feel safe asking for help. As we care for others, let’s not forget to care for ourselves, too. ❤️ #WorldMentalHealthDay #NRCSFUTADetachment #MentalWellbeing

First Aid Gem: Joint Injuries ⛑️ Joint injuries can happen suddenly, especially after a fall, twist, or awkward movement. Giving the injured area the right care early can help reduce discomfort and prevent further injury. If you’re dealing with or assisting someone with a suspected joint injury: 🟢 Stop the activity and allow the affected area to rest. 🟢 Protect the injured joint from unnecessary movement or pressure. 🟢 Apply a cold pack wrapped in cloth for short periods to help with pain and swelling. 🟢 Keep the injured area elevated when practical. 🟢 Avoid forcing the joint back into position or trying to straighten it if it appears deformed.
