💛A Little About Us

At two community cultural houses, weekends are becoming a little different.
This year, girls from both communities are coming together for another season of life-skills workshops - a space to meet, talk, listen, and learn from one another through simple activities and everyday conversations.

The video brings together moments from both houses, connected by the same idea: creating a space where girls can feel comfortable being themselves, share what is on their minds, and grow alongside their friends.

We are grateful to Future For All and Google for supporting these activities and helping make these spaces possible for girls in the community.

Two cultural houses, many different stories, and a lot of small moments shared along the way.

In the age of short attention spans, a 1-minute-and-51-second video might be a little too long to get a message across. But some stories deserve more than a few seconds. And I want to share mine in the most authentic way possible. ❤️
In case you did not make it to the end, here are the key takeaways:

1. The challenge: I'm trying to run a half marathon in under 2 hours. Because @vietnamesecyclopath won't let me go back to Vietnam if I don't hit that target. Go hard or don't go home!

2. The purpose: This time, I want my miles to mean something beyond a finish time. I'm using this race to raise funds for a project by @futureforall.vn, supporting girls in Vietnam's Mekong Delta through education and scholarships. Because every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and build her own future. 💚

3.How you can support: If you'd like to be part of this journey, you can donate via bank transfer:

Account holder: Future For All e.V.
IBAN: DE68501900006000331412
BIC: FFVBDEFFXXX
Bank: Frankfurter Volksbank Rhein/Main
Payment reference: Run for Education

Let's make every kilometre count. 🇻🇳❤️

During the recent visit, Bong Sen was delighted to welcome Ms. Khuê, representing Future For All (FFA), to the community and meet the female students supported through our Girls’ Education Programme.

These face-to-face encounters bring supporters closer to the girls’ journeys, helping to see and understand the stories behind the numbers in our reports.

Bong Sen deeply appreciates FFA’s trust and continued partnership in supporting girls’ education.

Growing up together

Every session is an opportunity for girls to better understand themselves, build confidence, and support one another as they grow.

Every question is heard.
Every small step is encouraged.
Every smile helps nurture confidence and self-belief.

Thank you to Future For All (FFA) for partnering with Bong Sen to create safe and meaningful learning spaces where girls can grow with confidence and care.

This year in Gia Lai, I had the chance to meet the Ba Na and Jarai communities, just two of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, each with their own unique traditions, languages and stories. Experiencing their deep connection to nature, profound spirituality, and incredible sense of community expanded my perspective and filled me with gratitude.

What moved me most was the strong sense of togetherness— an entire villages came together not only to prepare for rituals but to share stories, food, and gratitude, showing that community is at the heart of everything they do.

It’s humbling to see how these traditions unite people, preserving harmony between life, nature, and spirituality.

Thank you @tina.d175 for introducing your home to us and @kimlogophile for this unique opportunity ❤️
