POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After painting a guard in the Rothko room at MoMA, next up in this series of centering art gallery security guards is the High Museum and this moment I noticed between these two at @asherald ‘s American Sublime. No idea where these are going to be shown when I’m done with the series, but I’ll figure it out.

The founders of @_followmeatl are real artists, true emcees, creating a platform for underground musicians to perform, connect, and grow. Artists supporting artists. That’s what it’s all about.

RAILROAD ATL was built for artists like them. A cultural creative space where artists can bring their ideas to life, build community, and create opportunities for one another. We’re honored to host FOLLOW ME ATL every last Friday.

A few moments from the last show. Come experience the next one!

“THE ONLY WAY TO GET RESPECT IS TO FINISH THE RACE”

Acrylic & Latex Paint
EuGene V Byrd III

Inspired by the words of Wendell Scott, the first Black NASCAR driver to win a race at NASCAR’s highest level. This painting pays tribute to his love of cars, passion for racing, and dedication to his family and sons—who served as his pit crew and shared in his journey on and off the track.

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of participating in the Post Black? Artist Talk. 🖤

We had such an amazing and thought-provoking discussion, and I’m grateful to have shared space with such a wonderful group of artists and creatives. I truly hope I get the opportunity to work with this group again in the future!

Thank you for the conversation, the community, and the opportunity. ✨ @mungodoesart @futuregalleryatl

An evening where Black art, culture, and conversation took center stage. 🥂

The Post Black Art Exhibition curated by @mungowona brought together creativity, expression, and community in a space that reminded us just how powerful our stories are when given room to exist boldly.

Pressed Haus was honored to experience and support a night dedicated to Black artists and the work shaping culture in real time.

Art. Culture. Community. This is what we love to see.
