We kicked off our new Marriage Small Group with our friends Denny & Machila #TeamMohler. We are so excited to walk through marriage in a series our church led by Pastors @seanmoore.fcc and @ericamoore.fcc did over a year ago called Better Together. We decided to add a little twist to it.."In The Kitchen". The kitchen and breaking bread with our sisters and brothers was such a joy!

Thank you Team Mohler's for sharing your culinary skills with us. We made:

Foccacia Bread 😋
Grilled Chicken Breast and Red Onions😋
Broiled Portebello Mushrooms and Peppers
Arugula
Vegan Mayo in Stephanie's voice!
Lemon Garlic Spread
And fresh Potato Chips

Talk about yummy! All of this was fresh and over a great discussion amongst couples who love the Lord and know that we are Better Together.

Looking forward to our next Small Group.

Love Ya'll

The 2026 God’s Daughters weekend might be in the history books now but this transformation is mine to keep forever🥹❤️🙌🏾 . Thank you to all connected to what we got to experience. Thank you to every staff member, volunteer, and vendor that played a role in what we got to experience. I was blessed to serve on the prayer team again this conference and like the last, I was still bestowed an experience that lacked nothing 🥹🙌🏾. #godsdaughtersweekend

Ever notice ducks in the canal are almost always in **pairs or small groups**, especially early in the morning? 🦆
That’s because they’re prey animals—**safety in numbers**. At dawn, predators are active, and staying together helps them stay alert, conserve warmth, and protect one another. Even nature shows the wisdom of not walking alone.

I looked this up because it's consistent when @randigirl22 and I walk, but these early morning walks in the dark has sparked a new revelation. We are not to do life alone. Being surrounded with people who love, care, pray, and correct is important and I would say critical in doing life well. Like the ducks, doing life with the right people is for our protection and it is wise!

God’s design for community—even creation reflects the wisdom of not walking alone

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12; Matthew 18:20

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT
[9] Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. [10] If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. [11] Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? [12] A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Matthew 18:20 NLT
[20] For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”

Tonight’s marriage group was incredibly powerful. We discussed breaking down strongholds and what it truly means to have our spouse’s back—covering them in prayer and interceding on their behalf. We had a back-to-back intercession time for each other, which allowed us to put into action what we learned. A special thank you to the Mohlers @futuremachilad for hosting and sharing an on-time word!

2nd Corinthians 10:4 reminds us, The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

Last night’s Bible study was truly impactful! We explored the importance of discerning between good fruit and bad fruit, and how this awareness can significantly impact our marriages if we’re not vigilant. Each couple had the opportunity to share which two fruits of the Spirit their spouse reflected the most, fostering deeper connections and appreciation for each other.
It’s a reminder to always remain rooted in the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Our teaching was inspired by Psalms 1:1-3, which emphasizes the blessings of walking in alignment with God’s ways.
So blessed to be a part of this wonderful marriage community.
Let’s continue to cultivate good fruit in our lives and relationships! 🍏🍇

What an amazing night at our marriage Bible study!
Our hearts were full as we packed the house and felt the mighty presence of God among us. We began with prayer and then powerful worship, followed by a great teaching.
A heartfelt thank you to Phil and Kim for graciously hosting such a beautiful evening!
Our focus was on Habakkuk 2:2: “Write the vision; make it plain.” It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the visions we want to cultivate in our marriages, sharing dreams, setting goals, and encouraging one another.

We are truly blessed to be part of this marriage community that inspires us to grow together in faith and love.

Looking forward to our next gathering!🤍🙏

Tonight, we gathered for our God’s daughter’s small group, and what an incredible experience it was! Our Bible study was truly powerful, reminding us of the importance of the words we speak. Just as a gardener tends to their soil, we must cultivate our hearts with positivity and love, creating an environment where faith can flourish.

A special thank you to Machila for being such a beautiful vessel for God’s message. Your guidance and passion inspire us all!

We also had a blast during our white elephant game, sharing laughter and joy over warm cups of hot chocolate. And let’s not forget the creativity that will blossom as we build our gingerbread houses.

I am so grateful for this group and the authentic connections we’ve built. Each moment spent together strengthens our bonds and deepens our faith. Here’s to many more nights of fellowship, fun, and growth! 🙏

Last year, God gave me a vision to host a mother's and daughter's event at my home. I said yes and then did nothing with it. About 2 months ago, I dropped my son off at school, and as I was driving home, the voice of the Lord was very clear... So, when are you going to do the event? 😱😫🤔😭♥️ By the end of the day, I created the invite and sent it to as many ladies I knew that had kids 10-18 in grade school.

8 moms and 11 young ladies joined me and Amira to just be in each other's presence with no distractions. It was really God's plan for each of us.

We talked about undertones, colors we like, colors we like to wear, and colors that complement our complexion based on our undertones. We were able to create as a mom and daughter duo and then end our time with writing special notes for one another and read them over each other as we took the runway!

Thank you God, you are so good! What a great time we had. So much happen to us during that time. I can't take any credit for it. I remember when I sat down and started writing the run of show and all the details, it was like my fingers just kept typing, but it wasn't me. Holy Spirit took over from the beginning and was present yesterday.

Thank you moms for entrusting Amira and I. You really had no idea what was planned and you joined in faith.

Shoutout to @randigirl22 for all of your resources! The balloons were on point!

Thank you @lakiesha.townsel with taking videos and pictures .. I did not have to pick up my phone one time.

#BookOfTheDay Tonight, we decided to be biochemists and read about DNA. 🧬🧬🧬 Mommy says she wished she had this book during some of her science courses in college. 😂 I just smiled because I don’t know what science or college is. 😂 🤷🏽‍♂️

This book has a lot of information and detailed, colorful pictures. If you know anyone interested in science, this book would be a great gift for them!

Special thanks to my big cousin, @brownstallionhawsewitskateson , for this book! I love it. I may or may not use it to scratch my gums. Lol.
