Introducing Fuel for Rugby Last night I hosted a nutrition webinar to players, parents, coaches and rugby clubs on the importance of nutrition for enhancing their team and player performance It is well known that nutrition is important for rugby players but it’s so much more. Clubs, coaches and parents can work together to enhance their nutrition provision through the 5 E’s: 1️⃣ Education - giving athletes, parents, coaches and clubs the knowledge to make informed nutrition choices 2️⃣ Environment - Make good nutrition accessible, affordable and easy 3️⃣ Encourage - Create a positive culture around food, hydration, recovery and healthy habits 4️⃣ Empower - Help athletes take increasing ownership of their nutrition and wellbeing. 5️⃣ Embed - Build nutrition into everyday routines, team culture and long-term athlete development. I have put together a FREE nutrition guide to get players, parents and coaches started plus the recording for the webinar All you have to do is comment “RUGBY” and I’ll send you the link to access the resources

Here’s the lay of the land for tomorrow’s Summer Fair. Please note that there may be some variation and movement of activities and the general layout due to seeking shady areas! 🏝️😎 The entire event has been put together by parent and carer VOLUNTEERS in their own time, so please remember to speak kindly and treat everyone involved with the Summer Fair. If you haven’t already, please consider signing up for a volunteer slot. Check with your class rep for more information, we simply can’t host these whole school events without all hands on deck.
We continue to work on a reduce/reuse/recycle approach at our events and ask that you please do your bit and use the bins and recycling boxes provided to help us keep Campsbourne tidy on Saturday! We encourage you to bring your own cup for hot drinks, and if you forget, don’t worry - our Campsbourne coffee cups will be on sale at the coffee truck and HSA gazebo for only £8. The weather looks HOT HOT HOT, so remember to SLIP, SLOP, SLAP! Slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat! And bring your water bottles. If you haven’t got your ticket yet for fast track entrance at the gate, buy online now! The link is in the bio! ☝🏼 #campsbourneschool #campsbournehsa #campsbournecommunity #campsbournesummerfair
