“Over You” is out everywhere! 🔥

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Damn proud & amazed by my twin brother @aaron_lopez_barrantes first gallery show in Paris. After many years perfecting his digital craft, he’s making a new name for himself on canvas and will be showing at Gallerie Monde (Cour Damoye) for the next few days.

And now a friendly reminder: if you appreciate the fact that real-life artists are still making art despite the world’s digitized financial obsessions, SUPPORT WORKING ARTISTS. People like @art_by_alb are the reason why authenticity still rings truer than digitized consumption. Buy his paintings before they’re sold out—they will warm your living room & speak to your soul—and remember that for the price of a night out of overpriced appetizers & watered down drinks, you can own a piece of art that will inspire you for the rest of your life.

Another year of a freelance illustrator in the books. 2024 was full of detailed memory line commissions, digital web branding, cocktail art, album art, trippy doodles in the park, custom bike helmets and lots of fun personal projects. I love what I do, and even more, I love how the art connects me with all of you. Big love and happy new year ✏️ ❤️

We're delighted to present a new track from No(w) Beauty, the jazz quartet featuring Enzo Carniel, Hermon Mehari, Stéphane Adsuar, and Damien Varaillon. The single, entitled "Cube", was written by Damien Varaillon and was recorded during the sessions for their latest album, released earlier this year and critically acclaimed.

Following the successful collaboration on "Même Heure Même Endroit" with Underground Canopy, today we're excited to unveil the original version of 'MHME', uniquely crafted by Paloma Paloma.
Link in bio.

Paloma Paloma's "Même Heure Même Endroit '' began with distinct guitar and synth elements, a sampled break, and of course, his emotive lyrics and vocals. Feeling the need for a more solid bassline and drumbeat, Mido reached out to Warren Dongué and Bastien Bonnefont from Underground Canopy. The final piece, true to Paloma Paloma's original vision, was finalized during a session with the sextet at the UCHQ, where Mido introduced Maxim to the band before everyone headed to the One Two Pass It studio near Paris.
This creative gathering birthed not just this version, but also its jazzier counterpart, released a few weeks ago.

Today, we're delighted to share this original impetus and its backstory. It's a shining testament to the incredible power of collaboration and the constant evolution of music.

JO WEDIN - THINGS AREN'T GETTING BETTER (SINGLE)

Jo Wedin's latest single "Things Aren't Getting Better" is a blend of 70's soul and modern R'n'B/pop, drawing inspiration from artists such as Minnie Riperton, Janet Jackson, Jenevieve, and Solange. Her vocal expressiveness and love for soul/R&B is prominent on this track, which she wrote and pre-produced in her home studio, and then was produced and mixed by Marc-Antoine Perrio and Nicolas Charlier respectively.
"Things Aren't Getting Better" is the first release from an upcoming EP, showcasing Wedin's high-pitched and expressive voice.
