POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“Safe House”, the first single off my upcoming debut project is officially out in the world. Even if you don’t plan on listening, or don’t like rock music, if you could save it, add it to a playlist or give it a spin, every little bit helps. I’m really proud of this song, this project and what’s on the way. I’ve put my heart and soul into this, thank you to everyone who’s supported so far.

It’s been over 5 years since I’ve consistently put any new music out, but in a few weeks I’m relaunching with a new sound and by far my best stuff yet. I’ve been working really hard on this project and it’s something I’m really proud of…younger me is still in shock about some of the artists featured on this project. My first song “Safe House” drops on May 15th, I hope you get a chance to check it out when it drops.

Although I only got around to releasing one song this year, I’m extremely grateful to all those who continue to stream, share and help grow the music I so much love to make. I would’ve been content with 500 streams, let alone 500,000. So much more on the way 🖤

This was my first full year releasing music and it blew way past any best case expectation I had. I make music because I love to and always have, this is the one thing that I do for me and me only. I can’t wait to start releasing more music next year that also includes some great features. Thank you to everyone who streamed, shared, supported or collaborated. It means a lot that it’s resonating with a handful of you out there.

New Music Friday 4/16/21 ‼️Check out this week’s additions to our Spotify discover playlist “Night School New Music”. Hit the link in our bio to give it a follow!

This week’s highlights begins with Salem, MA native hip-hop artist, Token, as he drops his first single of 2021 titled “Dentures”. This track is loaded with witty lyricism, dynamic flows, and hard-hitting production as Token starts off the year on a very high note.

Brockton, MA collective, Van Buren Records, releases their full length project ‘Bad For Press’. One of the most engaging and uniquely talented collectives in all of New England, Van Buren blesses fans with a 13-track gem of an album. S/O to the entire VB collective and everyone involved, make sure you save this album and take the time to check it out, you won’t be sorry you did!

Roxbury native and Miami based bedroom pop/hip-hop artist, Heath240, releases his first single of the 2021, titled “LIVE”. A smooth, catchy, lo-fi track that is one of his most ear-grabbing to date, and certainly one of the best releases from this week. Heath240’s creativity is shown through not only the song, but the music video as well. Definitely check this one out and support a majorly gifted upcoming artist, who has a lot coming later this year!

MA-based genre-blending artist, Maeko, releases his second single of 2021, “Lila”. Another colorful, psychedelic, alternative pop jam from Maeko, except this one is much more introspective and specific as he discusses his battle with OCD and mental health throughout the track. It’s definitely a raw and relatable song that we highly recommend. Tune in to his IG LIVE later today at 4PM EST for an interview on the song, his OCD, and mental health as a whole.

Lastly, MA native and Rhode Island based pop artist, The China Blue, drops his new single “Nervous” to his upcoming EP later this spring. We recently just wrote a piece on MassMusicRadio about the anxiety-ridden and passionately heartbreaking “Nervous”, so to read more about this one check out the full article, linked in our bio!

This week’s highlights begins with MA-native Cam Meekins and his latest single “Rolling Stone”. This song is light and colorful with beautiful, harmonic piano chords and a soulfully heartfelt performance from Cam. “Rolling Stone” is a dedication to his father, and a song that many will find relatable and moving. Definitely worthy of our feature of the week.

Salem, MA alternative hip-hop artist Dev Soter returns with another single from his upcoming EP; this one is titled “Brainlesss”. Psychedelic guitars and gorgeous falsettos are major highlights to this funky, melodic tune that is one of the best vibes you’ll hear this week. Look out for Dev’s upcoming EP, and possibly a Turntable Teachers collaboration in the near future 👀

Alternative group Bad Rabbits release their latest effort “Waves Collide”. So many eccentric sounds and upbeat rock-inspired production that also blend in electronic and soul influences. “Waves Collide” is a quick-hitting project that will leave you wanting more by the end of its runtime. Do not miss this one!

Lastly, FKA twigs drops her latest single “Don’t Judge Me” collaborating with Headie One and Fred again... for an incredibly atmospheric and moody sound. This song is so textured with beautiful synth-driven production and emotional performances, making it easily one of the week’s best major label releases.

New Music Friday 12/4/2020‼️ Swipe 👉 to check out the latest additions to our discover playlist, “Night School New Music” exclusively on Spotify and updated weekly! Make sure you give it a follow for new music each and every Friday 🔥

This week’s highlights begins with MA-based experimental/alternative hip-hop artist, TAHA, as he releases new EP ‘HAVE NIGHTMARES ABOUT ME’. This project represents the inevitable yet often unspoken result of ongoing chaos as it takes a deep, albeit abrupt, journey into the dark facets of his psyche. TAHA addresses topics of mental health, social toxicity, and racism and Islamophobia in America. After its fifteen minutes of runtime, the end result is as much of a reflection of anger, depression, and pain, as it is a self-confident statement of arrival. Big credits to Sir Rollie for one of the more uniquely experimental production palettes you’ll hear on a hip-hop project this year. Be sure to experience this EP in its entirety. More to come with TAHA soon 👀

Alternative pop/new emo artist, glvsshouse, releases new EP ‘Thank You, Have a Terrible Life’. The six song project is moody and atmospheric with psychedelic guitars, auto-tuned croons, and introspective lyricism. Another project that should be played in its entirety as it provides an impactful listening experience throughout. If you’re a fan of new age hip-hop and emo music, don’t miss this one.

Speaking of psychedelic pop, LA-based indie artist, Soft Shelter, releases new EP ‘No Exits’. Another project that features moody and eclectic mix of instrumental sounds. If you enjoy popular artists such as Tame Impala and Still Woozy as much as we do, Soft Shelter and ‘No Exits’ will be one of your new favorites.

Lastly, Atlanta-based artist Troyman, releases new single “YKTV”. As always Troyman brings energy and charisma over a hard-hitting horn-led trap beat. An excellent new release from the Rhythm & Flow finalist.
