Hey everyone! My name is Beck Wilson. I am a freshman at Texas Tech University, studying Energy Commerce and Supply Chain management. I am proud to say I am running for First Year Council here at Texas Tech. I want to advocate for better student amenities and be a middleman for students to make them feel heard by our administration. Voting opens up tomorrow morning, Wednesday, September 23. Thank you for your support! Wreck ‘em! Vote at ttu.edu/vote

Want to get involved at Texas Tech but don’t know where to start?

First Year Council (FYC) is a great way for first-year students to find their place on campus, meet other Red Raiders, grow as leaders, and get hands-on experience making a difference at Texas Tech.

FYC gives students the chance to get connected early, share their ideas, and build friendships and leadership skills that can last well beyond their first year.

Hear from some of our former members and learn why they chose to get involved!

Join FYC and make your first year at Texas Tech one to remember!

Introducing our candidate for Internal Vice President, Charleigh Feuerbacher!

Charleigh is a second-year student majoring in Agricultural and Applied Economics and General Business from Stephenville, Texas.

At Texas Tech, Charleigh has been actively involved across campus and within the Lubbock community. Her involvement began with the First Year Leadership Association (FYLA), where her passion for the Student Government Association first took root. She has since served as an At-Large Senator, a member of the Rules & Administration Committee, and a leader within the First Year Council (FYC).

Beyond SGA, Charleigh has gained valuable professional experience through an internship that progressed into a part-time position at iCEV, where she has developed skills that prepare her for leadership and service-oriented responsibilities. She is also involved in the Gamma Iota chapter of Alpha Phi, serving as the Coordinator of Campus Involvement and actively participating in numerous philanthropic initiatives.

Charleigh is running because of her genuine desire to give back to the university that has supported her growth thus far as both a student and a leader. Grounded in the principles of servant leadership, she believes leadership begins with listening, sharing in effort, and putting the needs of students first. Charleigh is committed to advocating for initiatives and decisions that best support the Texas Tech community and empower students to succeed. She looks forward to leading the Student Senate with integrity, collaboration, and a clear vision for a successful year ahead.

Join Raider Revival and support Charleigh Feuerbacher for Internal Vice President!
