We invite performers of all ages and skill levels to join us for our June Summer Intensive. Throughout the day performers will learn choreography produced by the La Voûte Staff. Choreography will be offered for dance, flag, rifle (optional), and sabre (optional). Each choreographic session will be offered for two skill levels. Our "Apprentice" level is open to performers developing their skills with 1-2 years experience. Our "Professional" level is open to performers seeking an additional challenge with 2 or more years of experience. Equipment will be available for use the day of the intensive. However, it is encouraged for participants to bring their own rifle and/or sabre. At the end of the intensive we will host a showcase in which all participants will perform choreography learned throughout the day. We encourage performers to invite friends and family to attend! There is a minimal fee of $30 to participate at the intensive. Pizza will be available at lunch for an additional $5. Payment should be submitted upon check-in via cash, check, or credit the day of the intensive. Please follow the link in our bio to reserve your place and register for our June Summer Intensive. We look forward to meeting you and bringing the St. Louis Community together for a day filled with pageantry! À votre santé! #LaVoute #LaVouteSTL #MCCGA #colorguard #spin

It's been a great weekend. Better than I ever thought it would be. I'm SO proud of West's two amazing guards. Purple, who had so many odds against them, from most of them having little to no guard experience to a sick member who couldn't perform at their last competition, managed to break 75 and place 7th, two places higher than they were seeded. They have made me a proud manager. Silver, most of whom I have spun with and taught since they were Freshmen, placed 3rd and got to take home bronze medals. Both guards met their goals for the season and I'm so thankful I got to help them achieve that despite my injury. Having to sit out this season and let myself heal has been the hardest experience of my life, but it's been worth it to support this program and spend time with my friends doing what we love. I have made memories and friendships that I will cherish forever. I'll admit, it's not fun to miss out on your senior year. It sucks to sit back and watch everyone else get to do what I love without me and participate in traditions that I have been apart of for four years, but now can't be. And as proud as I am of Silver for medalling, it hurts a lot to know that they did it without me. That even though I have helped train most of them, I can't say that score or the bronze medal is mine. And I really want to thank the family of the talented @kfallison ( @miss_sarah_kay & their mother ) for thinking about me and including me in the tradition of giving the seniors Build-a-Bears. I cried a lot and a majority of those tears were because of that bear. Thank you so much for taking the time and money to include me. It means more than I can say. @dut17ryan Thank you for coming to me as soon as you saw me crying & for being one of my all time favorite people. I can't wait to spin with you again. (And I'm very sorry I inked on your uniform, but hey, at least you don't need it anymore.) #MCCGACHAMPIONSHIPS #winterguard #fzw #fortzumwaltwest #fzwwgpurple #fzwwgsilver #seniorsunday #seniors2k17

Band is way more than just an activity. It's a group of people who become like family to one another and get to do something amazing with one another. They're musicians who dedicate a good portion of their time to practice something until they can't play it wrong. Or a group of talented men and women who learn how to fight through the pain of getting his by their equipment and do something amazing. They perform each time as if it's their last and when it is their last they put everything they have into it. I am so unbelievably proud of the band and guard of Fort Zumwalt West for their dedication to their show this season. You've really lived up to the Silver Jaguar Brigade standard.
