My July Recap 🪴✨💗

Plantmania stole the show this month! 🪴✨
I always love seeing my friends all come together for huge events! I’m so proud of all they do and I’m thankful to be apart of this community 🪴💗It was such a wholesome time and I can’t wait until I see you guys again💗💗

I am currently reading like 8 books but I only finished 1 in July😶‍🌫️😂. I picked up this book on a whim and finished it in two days 🙂‍↕️💗 Ali Hazelwood can do no wrong I absolutely devoured this book🍋💙 it made me miss Italy so much 😭.

✨Growing pains✨
In all honesty this was a rough month for me but I’m thankful for the growing pains. I realized that it’s okay to fall down & lose yourself from time to time. Making mistakes and learning from them is part of life.
•
I made a promise to myself to start putting myself first and to do things scared. Doing things by yourself, especially group activities with strangers, can be so daunting but I made a decision to do those things anyway and thank GOD I did.
•
I found a place to play volleyball and even made a couple of friends! 💗🏐
I found a new bookclub and book lover group that I’m thankful to be apart of now! 📖♥️
•
I’m proud of myself and I’m thankful for the growing pain. For the first time in a while I can’t wait to see what’s to come next♥️✨🍁

Final farewell to Austin 🤍 I learned and transformed in so many ways in this city, and I have these people to thank for sticking around.

Moving here I was so lost and overwhelmed with the realization that I had abandoned myself in pretty much every way out of fear - my life was worlds away from the life of my dreams. I was faced with the task of bridging that gap and my experiences here helped facilitate that. I fell in love with a lil Midwestern man; performed in overnight short film shoots and blackbox theatres; was laid off so many times (Austin🤍) that I was forced to learn a myriad of professional and financial skills and gain confidence in the workplace; learned to treat my body right; solidified my values of radical love and inclusion especially when our culture is so divisive; learned to use chopsticks after eating hundreds of bowls of pho; internalized self-love and what that looks like in my relationships; and most importantly, I regained my confidence to show up as the vulnerable, passionate gal that I am and chase the dreams I had convinced myself were unfeasible.

Officially hard launching my next chapter: today’s my first day as a full-time singer at The Greenbrier in WV!! Literally pinch me?! I can’t wait to keep growing here and see how that reflects in my art. I wish I could tell the insecure post-grad Courti that all the pain and confusion and frustration will make total sense in just 3.5 years :,)

Bye, Austin!! I will miss the martinis on every corner and live music every weekend! I will not miss the cedar-induced chronic eczema!! 🍸 🎶 🤠 🌵

November’24 🤎🤠

November was a crazy month for growth! After feeling stagnant at work, I applied for a promotion and was approved! I’ve only been working in the position for a little bit, but I’m excited to see how I progress.

Throughout the month I’ve slowly started to feel myself mature. I’ve also been feeling my age and not quite as young lmao. Don’t worry, I’m still a silly goose 🤪. But, I do feel like a new era in my life is about to begin and rather than being afraid, I’m excited.

With it being my last day as a 27-year-old. I believe that 28 will bring me plenty of happiness. Here’s to starting a new era!
