POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

it’s hard to put into words what this sport has meant to me. volleyball was never just a game to me; it was a place where i grew, where i found some of my best friends, made the most unforgettable memories, where i learned discipline, resilience, and what it means to love something with your whole heart. i gave this sport 6 years of my life, and as much as i wish this season had ended differently, ill never let it take away everything volleyball has given me. the lessons ive learnt, the people ive met, and all the moments in between will stay with me forever. i’m thankful for every opportunity, every friend ive made, and every version of myself this sport helped me become. this sport was the only thing that kept me going from time to time and what i drove myself crazy to be the best at. sometimes the things you love the most don’t end the way you imagined, and that’s the hardest part of saying goodbye, thinking about what could’ve been. a part of my heart will always belong on that court.

Thankyou mom for all of the long ass drives all over the east coast, for driving yourself broke just so i could play travel ball, and for always being the punching bag after a bad game. it never goes unseen and i couldn’t be more greatful to have you in the stands cheering.

Thankyou God for giving me the amazing opportunity to play the sport for as long as i have injury free, and for bringing all of the amazing people into my life that i wouldn’t know without it.

To my coaches thankyou all for allowing me to give everything i had during games and practices, never doubting me or what i was capable of, and for pushing me to be the best player i could be.

thank you for everything, volleyball.
