MEET GENESIS!

Hi! My name is Genesis, I came to Rock Harbor while searching for a local church after my best friend’s family, the Hartwigs, spoke highly of it. So my mom encouraged me to attend a service without realizing it was baptism night. That evening, I witnessed people publicly proclaim their faith, surrounded by a loving community. The Holy Spirit felt so present, and I had a powerful encounter with someone whom I had never met. She looked at me and said that she had a vision of me playing volleyball, which I did, and from that moment, and many tears later, I knew I was in the right place.

Jesus changed my life by bringing me sudden peace when I felt in the darkest moments of anxiety. I was not firmly rooted in my faith the way I am now, and I would not be here without God’s guidance and rescue. Jesus has shown me what He desires for His beloved sons and daughters. He transformed my mind, heart, soul, and desires as I surrendered to Him and all he offers. I no longer live under the identity of the world, especially not anxiety, but in my identity in Christ. I now see light in darkness and joy through despair. Knowing Jesus, His Word, and His Goodness has changed me. PRAISE GOD
