Wellness Wednesday: Embrace the power of journaling!

🖊️ Journaling is a transformative tool that can boost your mental health and nurture your sisterhood connections. Check out these three tips to get started:

1. Set a daily intention: Begin each journaling session by setting a positive intention. Whether it’s gratitude, self-discovery, or reflection, this will guide your thoughts.

2. Be honest and unfiltered:
Write freely without judgment. Let your thoughts flow, capturing your feelings, dreams, and challenges. This authenticity promotes deep healing.

3. Reflect on your journey:At the end of each week, revisit your entries. Celebrate your growth and recognize patterns that can help you better understand yourself and your connection with others.

Let’s strengthen our bonds and mental health together!

Grateful for these past days, grateful for these past months.

My final days in Mexico have been spent tenderly with myself. Deep energetic work, fasting, reading, resting. A bit of stretching and a lot of stillness. So much time spent on this roof outside of my apartmentito, watching the banana leaves blow in the wind.

Transformation & integration are beautiful enigmas. The feedback isn’t immediate, at least for me. But faith and patience are met with the warm, exhausted kind of satisfaction. Days in bed with the sunlight hitting your face through the window. The tickle of a sea breeze on your shoulders. Connections deep and dewy with soul family.

You deserve this, you deserve this. I am so humbled. I am so grateful.

I was mesmorized by the butterflies. They greeted me on my ride and then I greeted them on my walk. It was like they were speaking to me, sending a message about metamorphosis, transformation and hope.

One of the most profound things that anyone has ever said to me was when my 5 year old daughter looked up at a passing tree and said, “Mommy, do you know that broccoli is like a tree to ants?” We recently agreed that it maybe more like kale. I continue to be in awe of her mind and the way that she thinks about things and lives her life. Maybe she is kale to ants, but to me, she is a tree. Full of life, courage and grace.
