A2418890 millie 🧸 this sweet girl, has been under shelter system for over a year💔 and is still waiting. while at times, millie can be shy and observant with time she is an AMAZING dog who loves attention and especially, loves her toys. millie recently got surgery to remove her mass, so to make her recovery a bit better- we provided her with some extra plushies to add to her collection! and make her happy ( and oh she LOVED them) she also got some treats and some affection as she doesn't receive it much.. and we reminded her that her home soon will arrive, because 440 days is simply way too long & enough. what else does millie have to do to be chosen?! ADOPTED 💙A2731161 ben💔 this sweet boy has endured so much in his little life, it breaks our heart. when ben first walked into the shelter, he was completely underweight and emaciated.. we don't know what happened but what we do know is that he definitely did not have a good life. and today, marks OVER 300 days in shelter system for ben😭 303 days of living in a kennel 303 days of spending 23.5 hours alone 303 days of being over looked 303 days of having to take in the suffer of being so stressed. from the moment his kennel door closes, his anxiety picks up and he starts pacing in circles, or jumping the corner of his kennel.. ben often has a few cuts from all the shelter stress. and while, our enrichment team tries their best to help him by giving him enrichment and often attending our dog group play dates.. that has seem to not be enough🫩 please, choose ben. have his story end here and open to a new story. millie 😭💔 seeing millie being at the shelter for OVER 400 days and no one choose her breaks our heart 💔 millie is such an amazing girl! she's easy going and loves human attention.. while she can be a bit more on the dog reactive side, we believe she would do great in a home with no other pets! for the past few months, our shelters cleaning crew provides millie with what we call her " emotional support" buddies.. millie never intends on destroying them instead she cuddles up with them on her bed and for moments, it brings Millie at peace 🥹 when walking the shelter, Millie will always be one of the CALMEST dogs in her display room just watching you and hoping you'd come up to her glass and say " I want you!".. no barks, no jumping.. just her laying down in her bed watching out with her stuffed animals. 🧸 the good thing? millie appears: potty trained house broken friendly and sweet know commands loves human affection easy going + playful do your thing!! and help us share millie!! help us show her more than just a kennel. WARNING: you might fall in love after watching this reel.. all american bulldog lovers, where are you?!?! meet cookie🩵 cookie has been in and out of the shelter since 2022. she was adopted then returned, just to be adopted again only to be returned once again. since then, cookie has waited over 4 months to find a home. and sadly, that hasn't happened. it's been over 4 months of cookie waiting and not even one adoption interest for her. cookie recently came into the shelters clinic and was examined by our veterinary team and it was announced that she has hip-dysplasia and will need an FHO surgery. the problem?: cookie has no LONG term medical foster or adopter committed to help her expenses, treatment and fully recover. so until then, until someone steps up and says " cookie I WILL be your hero" cookie will be at the shelter getting pain medications to hopefully help her relieve some pain as she waits. the good thing? right now, cookie appears to be: potty trained crate trained dog friendly knows commands house broken good on leash easy going playful after seeing this video, we hope you will open up your heart, your home, your love, and your full dedication to helping cookie❤️‍🩹 if not, please help us share. this is bella. please don't scroll past her and ignore her. instead acknowledge her and show her the support she needs. for the past 4.5-5months this has been Bella's life, she doesn't know nothing more or less.. all she knows is her kennel, her daily round walks, or her 10-15 minute playtime's. but she still remains the sweetest and most gentle. although, at times bella can get over stimulated and bite the leash she listens very well to corrections and would learn very easily with time.. she's treat motivated and knows many commands already. bella was recently adopted but returned within 24 hours because she didn't get along with the house dog, so it's very important to acknowledge that Bella would do best as the only dog in the home. bella appears to be: Potty trained Crate trained house broken knows commands treat motivated must be the only pet in home.
