The front door is the invitation to your home, so we place a high level of consideration into what this looks like.

At Estetica, our bespoke projects often extend beyond interiors, we design and detail architectural elements that integrate seamlessly with the home’s intent. For Floreat Residence, we collaborated with G2 on steel-framed doors throughout, including this entry door - one of the largest solid steel doors we’ve created.

The question wasn’t just about scale. It was about refinement. We detailed the vertical groove and integrated the handle so it feels inherent to the door itself - not an add-on, not separate. The result is restrained, intentional, and quietly powerful.

This is what bespoke design actually means: every detail considered, every element working as part of the whole. Not decoration - integration.

What do you do with a space that sits physically adjacent to your home's heart, yet feels entirely disconnected from it?

In this Floreat residence, an underutilised activity room lived right beside the main living and dining areas - close in proximity, but worlds apart in purpose and flow. The opportunity wasn't just to repurpose square meterage. It was to create meaningful connection and ritual within the home.

Enter what the family now affectionately calls the wine room - their Friday night retreat. At its centre, a bespoke climate-controlled cellar designed in collaboration with conditioning contractors and @g2windowsanddoors. The brief wasn't simply storage. It was to transform the wine collection into a visual centrepiece - something to be experienced, not hidden away.

We surrounded this with four of the most exceptional armchairs from @cassinaofficial , upholstered for the first time in this particular velvet. @mobilia_ and the Cassina team had to prototype the application - a testament to the level of customisation this project demanded. Underfoot, a rug we designed exclusively with The Rug Establishment adds depth and drama, another first created specifically for this space.

The result is a room that doesn't just store wine. It invites pause. It elevates the everyday into something worth savouring - exactly what liveable luxury should feel like.

Beginning at the lowest point of the sloping block, Gwenyfred’s entry follows the site’s natural contours toward the main residence. Along the way, arched windows frame glimpses of the central courtyard, inviting quiet pauses before arriving in the central living areas. The home is perfectly oriented to embrace northern winter light while shielding outdoor living from the harsh summer sun.
