Late last evening, October 1, 2026, our dear Aunt, Sister, Cousin, Extended Family Member, and Friend, Virginia Smith passed away. We take comfort that she fell into a peaceful slumber. Thank you all for your prayers, support, and care during one of the most heart wrenching times in our lives. Continue to pray as we now prepare to celebrate her life and close the final chapter of this part of her life. #godsplan #grievingprocess #thankfulgratefulblessed

I am asking for prayer for my aunt. She is now in hospital hospice care. I have no words. Just know that the woman to the right of me and my mom in the first picture is what I can call my Aunt/Big Sister. We are ensuring that as she cared for us growing up, we are caring for her like we did for our dad in his last days. Also pray for my mom. She is my aunts older sister and dementia makes processing this and helping her baby sister so hard. What a journey it’s been since I moved back home from Indiana…but I’m so glad I did because I know this was one reason I needed to return. Thanks for your prayers for Virginia (Ginny) Smith and Elassie Smith Hodges. Yeah, me, my brother, Eric and my sister-in-love, Sharon. We are their caregivers and have been a force to be reckoned with since my dad. Thanks. #hospicejourney
