It's our first Free Friday of the month & it's a special one x

East African Dance music icon, Kampire [@kkaybie], makes her hotly anticipated return to the dungeon ❤️‍🔥

Kampire is a central figure in the development of the contemporary East African Dance music scene, championing innovative African sounds across the continent and beyond as one of the regions biggest DJs and as a core member of the pioneering Nyege Nyege Collective [@nyegenyegefest] 🌟

One of Mixmag's picks for Top Ten Breakthrough DJs of 2018, Kampire's set on Boiler Room broadcast from Nyege Nyege festival was pivotal in sparking wider interest in the expansive styles of African Electronic music. Since then Kampire has continued to spotlight the most forward-thinking pan-African sounds tailored for the dancefloor, including but not limited to Gqom, Kuduro, Batida, Baile Funk, Bouyon, And much more 💫

Shutting it down alongside Kampire is Nairobi groove queen, nowisgood [@nig.wav], all-round creative force & soundsystem stunner, Gek0 [@g_ek0], and methodical Mist resident, Sayari Sikhupi [@sikhupi]
