We get asked how @g_staley68 is doing on his mission? Well, he hit one year and sent us a little video highlighting his year in El Salvador! 🇸🇻

He’s doing amazing and frankly this year has flown by. Think with as busy as we are chasing all the boys time has gone by so quick. Anyways, enjoys some of his highlights.

From someone who hated being in pics, to making sure I was in the back of a photo or having something or someone in front of me to hide my gut or learning angles and leaning in to make myself look smaller. Onward my friends, who cares what people say, post them damn sweaty selfies and let’s get our bodies moving!! 🫶🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Everyone join with me in wishing my beautiful, kind and amazing wife @nattystaley a Happy 40th Birthday!! If you have her number or follow her, send her some love. We had cake a few days early so that Elder Staley could sing to his mom before he left.

Natalie, you’ve been in my life for over half of yours. I love you, your boys love you and you make our wolds go round. Thank you for always being the fun and spontaneous one, you keep me young and I look forward to the many surprises you give me. I hope you feel loved and appreciated on your special day. You mean the world to me, man I’m a lucky sucker to call you mine.

After the first morning of fishing we had gone thru two bottles of bait and needed more, so we had to run to Elko to get more. Once there we decided to go check out Lamoille Canyon and have a picnic in some cooler mountain air. It was breathtaking! The boys kept telling me that it didn’t feel like we were in NV. I told them it was like we were on a grand adventure like in the Lord of the rings and I was Gandalf the Grey watching over my hobbits 😂.

Got to hike to Lamoille Lake, the boys wanted to do a cold plunge but I talked them into just dunking their heads. Also, got to have a snowball fight in July! Was a beautiful trip/hike and well worth it if you make it up there. Might be a backcountry backpacking trip in our future to some high country mountain lakes for some fishing. Best part for me was the last video of the boys all passed out as we raced back to our fishing hole for the evening bite.

Wildhorse Reservoir…. What a trip!! Took the boys(minus @jay_stay25 and @nattystaley who had to work) on a fishing trip of a lifetime. My Dad and Brother Riley got to fish this place many years ago and told us how great it was. My expectations weren’t too high, I just wanted to catch a few nice fish.

Well, those expectations were blown out the freaking water. In 2 days of fishing we caught over 100 fish. Majority were in the 3-5lb range, caught several in the 6-7lb range. @g_staley68 had 1 that was pushing 8-9lb and I messed it up trying to get it landed and it flopped back into the water and disappeared, but not before I dang near went swimming trying to catch it lol.

The Mormon Crickets were quite the spectacle to witness for the first time. Not only did they cover the roads and my truck in bug guts but the water was covered in them and the fish were going crazy in a feeding frenzy.

Was a trip that we will all remember for a long time and it won’t be the last of the Staley’s slaying it at Wildhorse. Next time @jay_stay25 and
