Some leaders build successful businesses. Others build lasting bridges between nations.

For more than three decades, Sabine Krafzel Khourdaji has been a driving force in strengthening the economic, civic and cultural relationship between Germany and the United Arab Emirates—demonstrating that leadership is measured not only by business success, but by the partnerships and communities it helps create.

In recognition of these exceptional contributions, she was awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundesverdienstkreuz) in 2026—one of Germany’s highest civilian honours.

At The Distinguished Ladies Forum, we are proud to celebrate women whose vision extends beyond the boardroom, creating meaningful impact across industries, cultures and generations.

It was an honour to welcome Sabine to an afternoon dedicated to meaningful conversations and lasting connections.

#FestiveSeason 🎄✨The #AHK hosted the annual Festive Dinner on 27th of November at @grandhyattdubai. The #Festive #Dinner was one of the very few face-to-face events in 2020, our #members were more than grateful meeting each other and enjoy a wonderful al fresco dinner with traditional roasted goose and many more #Christmas themed delicacies. 🎅🏻

We would like to thank our #sponsors Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman Trading LLC (GAAST) and Lufthansa for their loyal support.🙏

Our leadership workshops 👩🏻‍💼👨🏼‍💼 are always well attended. This time we focused on the topic "Strategic Management - How to manage relevance". A special thank-you goes to @theknowledgebrokers (AHK Member), who always provide us with the best international speakers/trainers. Stephen Humphrey conveyed the subject well to us in his creative and professional manner. It was a great pleasure.
If you are interested in our leadership workshops, please visit our website. 💻 🍊🍪🥤Food and Drinks were provided by our AHK Members @bakerskitchenuae and @gaastdubai !
It was delicious like always🙏🏻 A big thank-you also goes to @unboxcommunity (AHK Member) , which offered us their modern work space.
