10/10 recommend spontaneously going to your local marathon to cheer on strangers as they cross the finish line, you never know who might need it 🤍 IT WAS TEARS!!!! No seriously I was crying, watching these people I didn’t even know achieve their goals and dreams!! It was so sweet and special and unexpected. I was so curious about all the marathoner’s stories, what it took for them to get to that moment, and I could feel their sense of accomplishment IN MY MF SOUL!! Hearing the different runner’s stories from family + friends around me, I felt so proud of each and every one of them. The two girls pushing their terminally ill brother 26.2 miles to the finish line, the family in the “crushing cancer” shirts, the father holding his baby girl in his arms as he ran to the finish, the lady with the “RIP Michelle, this is for you” sign, the blind runner and his guides, all the people who could barely stand but pushed through to the end anyways… 🥹🥹🥹 It was more than just some Sunday serotonin, I left feeling soooo inspired, touched, connected, motivated (and girl, I have zero stakes in the running game/world) it’s just.. HUMANS CAN DO INCREDIBLE THINGS✨ Shoutout @itsmarleee + @gabbrzz !!! We stayed til the end, even after they closed the finish line, so the last runners still had a cheer section 📣
