Meet the Crew!🐶

Good Dog is brought to life by an incredible team of artists, each contributing their unique talents to the production. Writer and Director Dylan Lee is a New York City–based storyteller passionate about creating heartfelt stories that blend humor, imagination, and emotional honesty. Stage Manager Corinn, a Pace University graduate, brings experience from productions including If/Then, Urinetown, and the First National Tour of Back to the Future: The Musical, and is excited to help bring Good Dog to the stage. Costume Designer Gabby Iwaszkiewicz makes her New York City design debut after earning a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance from Greensboro College, combining her lifelong love of performance with a passion for visual storytelling. Intimacy Director Clay has collaborated with organizations including The New York Neo-Futurists, The Tank, Lincoln Center, and the Tribeca Festival, and is dedicated to creating safe, collaborative spaces through consent-forward storytelling. Makeup Designer Makayla Bird, a represented New York actor, combines years of makeup artistry with a love for bold, expressive looks inspired by the beauty community. Together, this passionate team is thrilled to share Good Dog with audiences at the New York Theater Festival.

“Me and the Devil” Flair Dance Festival year #2

This dance was such a cool concept me and Gabby got to put together and it’s definitely one of my favorites. We put a lot of thought into the storytelling of the piece. We also choreographed this dance 90% over videos and FaceTime and only two rehearsals in person. It was also so cool to be able to dance with Gabby again as we both didn’t think we’d ever get the opportunity to do a duet again.

Finally getting around to posting these 💀 Back in May with the cast of A Sketch of New York at The Producers' Club. Such a fun, high-energy run with some truly beautiful people. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch us do our thing in the Theater District! 🎭✨

We recently got to partner with NYU Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, we got to do what we love most, share the joy of dance with some incredible kids. 💜✨
This visit was extra special because we brought along our newest Hope in Every Beat team member, Gabby, and got to show her the ropes! From filming broadcast episodes to dancing with friends who came down to join us, and those who danced right from their hospital beds, every movement mattered.
That’s the heart of Hope in Every Beat: dance how you want, from where you want, to the best of your ability. Whether it’s a full dance party or a small movement from your bed, every beat counts.
