and while we’re here! if you’re still reading! Chopping my hair was a little impulsive but i wanted to be so sure that my identity is SO internally rooted that i could remove something very external (ie: 14 inches of hair) and still be fully grounded as marita. My identity has never been in my hair, but it was the principle concept of wanting to ensure my identity was not in appearance. I loooove expressing myself in externally creative ways through fashion and style, but all of that external can be stripped away and who marita is will still hold true within me. turns out I feel even more marita with it chopped but either way who cares girl! it’s dead cells girl!

She’s also been crocheting so i gave her some of my yarn the other week and then yesterday she dropped off doilies she crocheted me with the yarn i gave her.
