Left a piece of my heart in Costa Rica ❤️❤️

The Lords presence was so evident this past week in everything that this trip brought. I will never get tired of watching the way He works in every moment and how intentional of a God He is! He continues to leave me in awe of His goodness and His mercy, especially through the people of Costa Rica. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!

So much love for Costa Rica 🇨🇷❤️

Words and pictures can’t describe how amazing this trip was. I’m so incredibly thankful for the beautiful opportunity to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus alongside the best group of people. What an amazing God we have, who loves and cares for His people so incredibly much. I will never forget the smiles on the children’s and families’ faces as they experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit. Seeing the Lord work in so many different ways was a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness. Costa Rica will always hold a special place in my heart!

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”

Costa Rica 🩵

“Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave, I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me.” -Psalms 23:4

Seeing how God has moved in my life over the past year is what makes this trip so special. He uses all of these moments to build us up and make us stronger. I will never forget the smile on the kids faces or the tears from families, just from our effort and presence. The love of God travels with us and we still could never fill Jesus’ shoes. Making lifelong friendships and memories I will cherish forever. It is so powerful to watch Gods work and to be his vessels. #jesusteama

Costa Rica📍🩵

This trip has changed me in many different ways and I am so so grateful to have been able to go. I have grown such amazing friendships and been able to serve the Lord with my best friends! God did amazing things this past week, and even though there were difficulties along the way , I couldn't have asked for a better trip. I had the amazing opportunity to get baptized again and I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for us to continue serving at home!

Psalm 96:3-4 "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all people. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all Gods."

I had the opportunity to go to Costa Rica for the third time on a mission trip, and I’m so thankful for the way God moved in me and through others during this journey.

From being stuck in Dallas for two days at the beginning of the trip to our final day in Costa Rica, God was working every step of the way. I’m grateful for the special moments, the friendships that were built, and the memories that will stay with me forever.

Before the trip, I prayed and asked God to help me grow as a leader. He answered that prayer by giving me opportunities to step up and serve. One morning, I had the privilege of leading a devotion and sharing two of the biggest lessons God has taught me through the mission trips I’ve been on:

1. Prayer is powerful.
2. God’s presence is real.

When you step away from your normal routine and focus on serving others, you begin to notice God working in ways you might normally miss.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13

Thank you, Justin,for leading with love and passion. Thank you for investing in my faith and helping me grow closer to Christ. Keep shining your light and sharing the love and truth of Jesus with others.

This trip has been the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. It has grown me in so many ways that I didn’t even know was possible. It has blessed me with so many amazing friendships that I am forever grateful for. Being able to serve the Lord with the people I love was such a blessing and I can’t wait to continue our mission here at home!!!

Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””

Thank You, God, for the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with New Life Church and serve alongside Mission Activation Church. This trip has shown me just how powerful and sovereign God truly is.

One of the biggest lessons I learned is that prayer is powerful. God hears every prayer, works in His perfect timing, and moves in ways we could never imagine. I’m so grateful for this experience, the people we served, and everyone who made this mission possible. My faith has grown in ways I’ll never forget.

I just want to thank New Life Church for blessing me with the opportunity to serve Jesus in Costa Rica. This trip has taught me so many valuable lessons. The power of prayer is beyond any limitations. I also want to thank @justin_bates_20 for being a great leader for me and everyone who went on this trip. It was so cool to see Jesus moving in many different ways.
