most of my captions are short, sweet, maybe even “nonchalant” but I’m going to try a different approach

today I want to talk about Grace. And not Grace from the man up above, which he gives so abundantly. But I’m talking about giving yourself Grace. Things aren’t always to go your way. It’s easy to get hard on yourself, get pissed off, frustrated, sometimes you just want to throw things, cuss, and quit. But this life is about learning. More often than not it’s about learning what not to do. It’s all right to mess up, to fail, it’s the trying times that actually build your character. So why not struggle, why not fight, why not even fail trying towards the things that you want in this life? In my opinion, that’s the only way to move forward. But the biggest lesson that I’ve learned recently is that to climb that mountain, (to move forward), it makes it a hell of a lot easier if you understand that not every step of the way is going to be perfect. YOU are not going to be perfect. But that’s okay, you don’t gotta be ... you just gotta learn to give yourself a little Grace and keep putting one foot in front of the other.
