I had the immense pleasure of photographing GoDaddy’s Super Bowl LIX campaign with the singular Walton Goggins and his eponymous Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses (say it five times fast). Are they goggles or are they glasses? Yes.

We spent 7 days in Mexico City working alongside the motion team while Ian Pons Jewell directed the incredible spots. I’ve loved Walton’s acting since I saw him in Justified years ago. Sometimes everything really does come together on jobs because collaborating with GoDaddy and Walton creatively was an actual dream. Walton arrived on set, asked to connect to our bluetooth speaker, put on some Depeche Mode and said “Let’s get f*ckin’ WEIRD!”. He was kind to the crew, collaborative and totally down to try ANYTHING. There are so many wild moving pieces on a production this large and there are SO many people to thank on this one. Gabe Scalise and Matt Krivanek at GoDaddy for bringing me on and trusting me, Fernando Venegas for lighting the hell out of it and being our de facto ex local guide, Daniela Dominguez at Habitat for fulfilling all our crazy gear requests. The awesome stills crew in CDMX. Credits below:
