Yesterday we released an excerpt entitled “Chapter II. In The Eye Of Umbria” via our friends at @blackmetalpromotion666 and our amazing partners at @distortion.musicgroup and @reigningphoenixmusicofficial . Today we are proud to present to you the full work we like to call ‘Morning Nautical Twilight’ our third full length record and the first that takes place within our own realm.

The last four years we’ve been putting quill to parchment and have created a world rich in lore, with vast landscapes and a deep and troubled history spanning many an age. ‘Morning Nautical Twilight’ tells a carefully crafted tale across 12 chapters that follow the divided nations of the West as they discover ancient relics thought to be only myth.

A frameable map of The Realm Of Aurelia will be available with the purchase of the LP and our 15,000+ word story will be available within the CD.

Out December 4th, 2026

Broadheart is the brainchild of David Shanle (Squint/Still - Sunday Drive Records and Like Heaven - WAR Records) and Bradley Jokerst (The Disappeared), both hailing from the thriving and diverse St. Louis, Missouri music scene. What began as fully fleshed-out but vocal-less Shanle demos, ended as 12 songs reminiscent of late 90’s/early 00’s era emo/melodic hardcore. Gabe Usery, the producer/engineer responsible for Squint’s “Feel It All Wash Away” and Still’s “Faint” and “Disarray”, was once again recruited to handle production and play drums with additional guitars and bass tracked by members of St. Louis locals Petty Grievances and Portraits & Landscapes. What results are songs that combine the best parts of the late 90’s/early 00’s emo boom and modern post-hardcore.

The first single “Seedy” swings with clean, arpeggiated verses and powerful wall of sound choruses. As if early Jimmy Eat World and Seaweed had a 21st century love child. While songs like “Adamantine” and “Low Tide” combine thick, guitars, a raspy vocal delivery that would fit right on a bill with Fiddlehead and Basement. Deep, introspective lyrics ask the question “what happens if everything we love is suddenly taken away?” Broadheart has crafted a record that is equal parts melody and angst. And begs to be sung along to.

FFO: Jimmy Eat World, Seaweed, Samiam, Basement, Fiddlehead, Koyo

Part 3 of the mini-doc. Really want to thank @lightbringer.activities for putting these together. He captured our history perfectly, and all in less than 5 minutes. Funny how music brings these types of amazing people into your lives. @nacho.man.randy.average told us when he was shooting that our first 7” was the first piece of vinyl that he ever bought back when he was like 17. Perfect, full-circle moment. Hope to see everyone on the 12th. #314punk #punk #hardcoremusic #stlouismo #stlhardcore
