Last night around 10 PM, my best friend died in my arms on the way to the ER. Shadow had a splenectomy on Monday, which he pulled through like a champ. Unfortunately, the unthinkable happened and he most likely developed some internal bleeding, had a clot, which in turn caused a stroke. I’m completely gutted. He was the best boy. He made every day better, especially the shitty ones. Anyone who walked into @qdivisionstudios experienced one of his “hugs”, which was basically him side checking you, practically knocking you over. I will miss him howling at fire engines, walking slower than molasses, dragging me down flights of stairs, eating all the kitties food, being a clumsy goofball, but mostly his love for everyone. Thank you to everyone at Q who has looked after him, and especially Sue for being there for him over the last few years, and in particular this week. RIP Shadow. You will always be with me, my sweet baby. Hope you are romping around with Charlie, Archie, Baby, and West Coast Shadow.
