There is never a reason to not be joyful

What a blessing, I can’t even to begin to express how grateful I am. The Lord taught me many things. However, the one thing that has been on my heart, is joy. Joy no matter what your circumstances are, joy that comes from the Lord. As we served throughout the community, I realized the people of Nicaragua were joyful because they had God, and that was enough for them. I pray to model that kind of faith daily. I will never forget the memories and lessons I learned, and I’m so blessed to have gotten this opportunity. I am so lucky to serve alongside my best friends, and it’s an opportunity I’ll never take for granted. I watched the Lord do amazing things, not only in the people we were serving, but in the hearts of each person I got to serve alongside of.

This was my first missions trip, but certainly not my last. Thank you Nicaragua, I’ll be back soon 🇳🇮

Incredibly grateful for how God moved in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 this past week through our @csmcalvary team! Our team prepped, prayed and navigated a lot of change and a few challenges, all with open hearts. I’m grateful for each member and the way that they modeled grace and humility in service.

Also, it was great to find out that we would be on mission (and location!) with my friend @mattcrow9999 and our friends @catalystym!

God is SO good. What an amazing week spent in fellowship with my best friends. The Lord was moving in so many ways. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such a good community, and I’ve learned to be more grateful for what God has given me. God confirmed so many things, and I’m so thankful I was able to experience these moments with the people I love most!! So many more pictures coming!!
