🔮 ABOUT THE FIFTH CIRCLE 🔮

✨ Blair St. James has spent her life at Arcanum Institute of Witchcraft trying to make a name for herself as a memory witch. As one of the few Black witches at the institute built on legacy, she knows that her power is meant to preserve the past and not challenge it. Until one of the star students is found petrified in fear and Blair starts having memory flashes from Arcanum’s past. A coven known as the Fifth Circle made up entirely of five of the first Black witches who made the coven for themselves when they weren’t allowed to be part of others. But their coven goes up in flames. An accident regarding black magic, or so they say. Drawn to wanting to find out the truth, Blair reforms the Fifth Circle with four other girls who know what it’s like to be overlooked, controlled, or underestimated. Together they will find out the truth.

As Blair and her coven dig deeper and the memory flashes become clear, she finds out the truth that the fire that claimed the lives of the Fifth Circle wasn’t an accident. And now, the institute is noticing that Blair is noticing, and if she continues, she could lose everything. Her place at Arcanum, her magic, or her life.
