Let's talk about this clip. What's the difference between firepower and stopping power? Who had the advantage in this altercation? What happens to your body under stress? Fight or flight...what happens when your opponent chooses fight and has the laser focus mindset of, close with and destroy?
.
What's the biggest issue with this clip? It's probably not what you think it is after watching it only once. Your body under stress goes into survival mode. You lose finger dexterity, audible exclusion, and tunnel vision kicks in. Can this be trained in a lack of better words, out of you? Yes. If an F-16 pilot can sustain 9Gs and still operate sensitive equipment and communications, you can manipulate a reload under extreme stress. But remember, you're never going to rise to the occasion, you are going to fall back on the level of training you've mastered.
.
So, have you guessed what the worst part of this video is? It is the phenomenon of firing where you "see" the threat, not where the threat is. This happens under extreme stress. Your brain and eyes are not communicating. Watch as the deputy fires his weapon into the abyss where the subject was, but clearly is not there. #police #lawenforcement #training #tactical

Did you know that as of 2022 11.4 million veterans have no service connected disability?

A lot of people think that the current generation is “taking advantage of the system” right now but it’s definitely not true.

It can be a really confusing and complicated process to file a disability claim which makes it intimidating especially if you have to drive an hour or more to your “local” VA 😬

You didn’t fuel your body with caffeine, nicotine and hate for all those years just to get bad joints and back pain for nothing!

If you file a claim you aren’t taking away from someone who needs it more. There’s room for everyone.

There’s plenty of great orgs that can help you with your claim outside of the VA like your local VFW, American Legion, DAV and of course our friend at Gable Ops can assist you virtually 🤘🏻🇺🇸

Have you ever wondered what differentiates service dog programs from one another? Do you look into the organizations you’re donating to, or how these “organizations” relate to who they serve?

This bill is STALLED. Passing it would mean you would receive retroactive benefits for your MST (military sexual assault) from the date you were discharged from service not the date you filed a claim.

1 in 3 female service members are assaulted according to VA data. This is far too many and there needs to be change.

We make change happen by letting our elected officials know what they should be voting for.

Look up for congressional district and contact your congressman’s office to voice your opinion on this bill.

Previously I put out incorrect information on this and I deeply apologize for that. Learned an important lesson to triple check and not rush. I never want to mislead our military community with incorrect information.
