And that’s a wrap on WEATHER GIRL!

“GableStage’s Weather Girl is a surreal, anxiety-fueled satire about climate change, media, and trying to smile while the world burns.”

I was so lucky to jump right into this show and perform quite an impressive magic trick 🪄

Still not over this last cue, possibly a cue I will remember for the rest of my life.

A recap of the 4th Annual State of the Arts in Coral Gables. 🎭

The morning began with a complimentary breakfast by Bagel Emporium, followed by a panel discussion exploring the opportunities and challenges facing the city’s cultural organizations, including funding, community involvement, and the importance of keeping the arts accessible.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation, and to our sponsors, Regency Parc and City National Bank, for their support.

What an event at the Sanctuary of the Arts 🎨✨

So many amazing speakers that I look up to shared their vision for the state of the arts, and I left so inspired. It’s proof that there is still so much love for arts and culture here in Miami, and especially right here in the Gables. 💛

As Arts & Culture Chair of the Coral Gables Woman’s Club, it was the perfect boost going into tomorrow, Thursday, October 8, when we kick off our very first Music in the Coral Room concert series! 🎶 My goal is to create a space where local musicians or different talents and genres can perform, sell tickets, and actually earn from their art.

Every ticket also supports the Club’s community projects, including our Coral Gables Children’s Dental Clinic, which has provided free dental care to kids whose families can’t afford it since 1939. That’s 87 years and over 40,000 children served. 🦷💙

Hope to see you tomorrow or at another Coral Gables arts event :)

Thank you @thecoralgablesmagazine and @sanctuaryofthearts for hosting the 4th annual @cityofcoralgables State of the Arts Event... thank you for having me, I am always grateful.

Coral Gables' arts and cultural community came together for the 4th Annual State of the Arts of Coral Gables, presented by Coral Gables Magazine and Sanctuary of the Arts.

The event brought together local arts organizations, cultural leaders, businesses, foundations, public officials, and community members to discuss the successes, challenges, and opportunities shaping the future of arts and culture in Coral Gables.
