It doesn't matter your age, what level you're on or what style you do. Skating brings everyone together and we all progress as a community.

SN: I'm enjoying watching his progress in skating. OG Silver Fox pulls up every night with the focus to get better. 🫡

On this day in 2008, Newburgh Art Supply opened its doors for the first time. Support and input from our customers has never wavered. Community and relationships and connections and amazing friendships have all developed here. We’ve learned as much from our customers as they’ve learned from us and it’s reflected in our inventory. Your continued trust that you place in us has been the foundation of our success. As from the start, this is the one place on this earth you will still be able to experience Gerardo’s spirit and enthusiasm for the arts. Thank you all for your support!

NCPP will once again participate in @newburghopenstudios. Now it’s 11th year, NOS 2021 will be held on September 25 and 26th. With well over 130 artists, there is a wide variety of accomplished and provocative work that should spark imaginations and conversations on a multiplicity of topics. This year, NCPP is producing three installations. In our project space at 102 South William a mapping and history of African-American Newburgh residents and innovators from 1619 through approximately the mid-20th century, including objects, ephemera, photographs, video, and of course maps drawn directly on the walls. There will also be installation of a public art project along Delano Hitch Park, which runs adjacent to what was once a thriving middle-class black neighborhood in the 1800s. And finally, our official reception on Saturday evening, September 25, from 7 to 9 PM with a large scale video projection, once again collaborating with @gorskynewyork and @commonprojectsnewburgh. Please stop by and spend time looking at the remarkable work of our seven fellows who have worked assiduously and arduously throughout the summer to uncover lost histories, and engage in conversation with them. We are very proud to have worked with these talented creators who are pursuing careers in photography, media arts, conceptual art, research, history, communications, and social justice. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet and mingle with them and more importantly discover some of Newburgh’s muted history. On a final note, we are also looking for volunteers to help install our public art project on Saturday, September 18 and Sunday, September 19 from 12 to 5 PM as well as to man our info center at the project space. Please message us here or contact us at NCPP 12550@gmail.com
