this year felt dark on the top and dark on the bottom
like the winter sun arriving too late and leaving too early
but years are a weird concept;
too long and too short
and I don't want them to fly by faster than they already are
and I don't want to choose anymore
so I wait, and life chooses for me
maybe I hesitate
maybe I have so much regret I don't like choosing anymore
maybe it's a survival instinct to curl up and let people, places and things pass me by
I'm not sleeping, just thinking
writing a few words,
sometimes the pain is so enormous,
making it art is the only choice
but it's art, you're not supposed to like all of it

*pics of the people, places and things that made this year suck less, grateful for all of it ♥️
